This is the person of the wish-fulfilling Vajra Lotus, always uphold, respect and offer, and must not be separated from it. In order to obtain the accomplishment of yoga, the vows of body, speech and mind are shown. Indra and others repeatedly asked, what is the fault of breaking the vows? What is the merit of keeping the vows? Please ask the Lord of the Bhutas to explain. Vajrapani said: Well said, Indra, listen carefully. If the body vow of the main Vajrapani is violated, then the lineage of the heavenly realm will be cut off. If the speech vow is violated, even if practiced, no accomplishment will be obtained, and the mantra will have no power. If the mind vow is violated, the punishment of the Dakinis will be completely cut off, and one will surely be born in the Vajra Hell. Without accomplishment, obstacles will arise. If the body vow of the glorious goddess Black Woman is violated, there will be the punishment of the king, the harm of poisonous snakes, and the disasters of fire and water. If the speech vow is violated, practice will be lazy and powerless, practice will be intermittent, and obstacles will arise. If the mind vow is violated, wrong views will arise and plagues will occur. If the body vow of the maid, the demoness ra ma ti, is violated, the entourage will have plagues and madness, and the enemies' lives and merits will increase. If the speech vow is violated, there will be death of children, unhappiness in the heart, and much talk. Wealth and enjoyment will be exhausted. If the mind vow is violated, there will be obstacles to one's own life, and leprosy and gastrointestinal diseases will occur. If the common vow is violated, there will never be a time of accomplishment even if one practices constantly, and one will never be separated from enemies. Again, King of Gods Indra, listen carefully, about the merits of keeping the vows. If the body vow of the main Vajrapani is not violated, then the state of unsurpassed Bodhi will be obtained. If the speech vow is not violated, then one will see the face of Vajrapani and receive the empowerment of Vajra speech. If the mind vow is not violated, then the four activities will be accomplished, and the Dakini assembly will also be subdued, and power and magical powers will be accomplished as desired. If the body vow of the glorious goddess Black Woman is not violated, then all the gods and demons, male and female, will prostrate and obtain the kingship of the desire realm.
