Na. This is the support and backing for the cutting-through and direct crossing above, Know it as instructed, Based on the three immovables, The vital point of wind and mind will be reached. The body is the three postures of the illusion wheel, Endowed with the three ways of seeing with the eyes, The mind is directed towards the manifest space. Because the body is still, the channels are still, Because the channels are still, the eyes are still, Because the eyes are still, the wind is still, Because the wind is still, the mind does not change, Because the mind is still, conceptual thoughts cease, Because conceptual thoughts cease, space and awareness, Thus, these three are shown as the three immovables. Alas! Listen, assembly of gathered ones! Then, measuring the duration of staying, Establishing the foundation on the three immovables, Dwelling continuously in the two, space and awareness. Where does awareness stay when staying, The body also stays without moving, The two, wind and mind, stay without changing, Thus, after these three stays arise, The measure is taken by dreams, The signs arise in body, speech, and mind. The best is when dreams dissolve into space, The intermediate is when dreams are in clear light, Knowing dreams in the state of dreams, The worst is when good thoughts arise in dreams, Thus, the measure is taken by dreams themselves, The signs and measures appear in body, speech, and mind. On each of the four appearances, The signs appear as three each. Among them, the first is the manifest nature of reality, The signs appear in three ways: The body is without activity, Like a turtle placed in a burning pit. Speech does not desire to speak, Becoming like a mute. The mind is like a bird caught in a net, Even if thoughts scatter, it stays focused. These are the three signs of the manifest nature of reality. The last is ṭa. Now, the signs of gaining the experience of increasing experience are: The body has no cherishing or indulgence, Appearing like a person afflicted with illness. Speech is like a madman, Speech appears without meaning or point. The mind is determined not to fall into samsara, Transforming like a person poisoned. The three signs of awareness reaching its measure are: The body, on the five elements, Goes through unobstructed, Like an elephant sinking into mud. Speech is as it is spoken, Others listen and power arises, Like a clay pot filled with water. The mind, not falling into samsara, Because the meaning is decided, it realizes the one, Like a person recovering from measles.
