Now, the vast expanse of space, the upright meditator does not see it. Seeing it, one might enter the meaning of equality, there is no other way. It is difficult to see it thoroughly, like searching for the ocean in a drop of water. Distinguishing this one essence with conceptual thought. Distinguishing it is itself, without it, one cannot find the path. Finding the path, it is also a long detour, like an elephant sinking into a small mud puddle. Leaves, branches, and shoots sprout, this itself is the fundamental refuge. Without it, there will be no sprouting of them. This essence of Dharma is the supreme root. Merely meditating on one body, one will degenerate from it. Meditating on two bodies, many conceptual thoughts will arise, becoming complex. For those who crave much and rely on various things, they have no Bodhi. Taking the wrong path as the road, walking that way will not find the path to the heavens, one will get lost. That way, one cannot see the Buddha, Bodhi does not exist from the root. Wanting to obtain it, it does not stay, because it is the emptiness of conceptual thought. Those with conceptual thoughts do not see the true meaning, it is very painful. There is originally no merging into Samsara, no taking or abandoning. Turning one's back on Bodhi, one will find it, one will not see this. Those who want Bodhi will not get this at all. Counting sand is the behavior of children, one cannot find the essence of sand. Clinging to duality, there is no vast essence, it is the continuation of conceptual thought. Then, the Blessed One entered the Samadhi of meaning, and specially proclaimed: The three thousand worlds originally do not need to be liberated. Originally equal, originally enlightened, so originally there is a need for liberation. The supreme essence, the body of Mahamudra. The mind is Vajra, it cannot be destroyed in any way. Bodhicitta itself is a jewel, it can produce everything. The sky is gold, the earth is the ocean. Like the clear moon, the body of complete liberation. The space that creates everything, the wish-fulfilling tree. Without omission, without remainder, the supreme realm. Originally pervasive, originally enlightened, without doors or walls. Entering, viewing, guarding, practicing, obtaining the fruit, one does not desire at all. Desire itself is the great obstacle of this Great Perfection. Searching for the object to be purified, one cannot find it, because there is originally no need to purify, the three realms are originally enlightened. Do not let the realm of words enter the senses. The so-called meditation cannot be established here. There is no substance in meditation, only words cannot express it.

Accumulating boundless wisdom, obscuring the speech of language. It is not emptiness, but has the essence of emptiness. Whatever is the object of focus, it has the essence of focus. Not seeing, not acting, not guarding, not meditating, this itself is the essence. Then Vajradhara asked: Blessed One, how is it perfected from the absence of essence? The Blessed One Samantabhadra entered into the samadhi of all spontaneously perfected, and specifically uttered this verse: This self-aware Bodhicitta, the source of all, Do not seek it elsewhere, it is nowhere to be found. Because there is no name to express, it is enlightenment, Like a jewel in the sky, everything is perfected in this. Because it appears universally, however the mandala appears, it is perfected in this. The formless essence is like the moon in water, However the form body appears, it is perfected in this. It is the essence of existence, it is all the Buddhas. It is the essence of non-existence, there is no basis or root. This essence of meaning cannot be represented by anyone. It is perfected in the very body of all the Buddhas. All elements are perfected in the realm of space. All phenomena are perfected in this sphere of bindu. All Buddhas are perfected in their own hearts. The view of the great Garuda, the supreme essence of Nirvana, is completely perfected in this. Therefore, it is called the Great Perfection, From this, the image of qualities arises, The place of obscuration is the wrong path, it is not completely spoken of as the essence. Without seeing this complete perfection, Buddhas cannot arise. Then Vajradhara asked the Blessed One: How should this essence of perfection be contemplated? Then the Blessed One entered into the samadhi of great compassion, and specifically uttered this verse: Without thinking, without distraction, without meditating, without focusing, Because there is no object to focus on in this essence, The holder does not grasp, thus abide in its own nature. Thinking is discrimination, therefore nothing can be thought. Not adhering to established views is the highest of thinking. Without separating object and sense, relax and abide. Do not let the senses follow the objects. Do not destroy the object, it is naturally as it is. As it is, not separating the object, this is the highest. In the vast sky of Samantabhadra, all paths are perfected. The time of the cuckoo
