Like the invincible Rahula. Again, the Assemblage requested again. Regarding the meditation without abandonment or abiding, Why is it said that disharmony will not arise? If that yogi is not distracted, Why is it said that there is nothing to do and no obstruction? How is the teaching that does not become a bond, And is free from partiality? Please explain, Omniscient Teacher. The Omniscient Teacher said: In all forms of the three times, Arising primordially without birth or death, All appearances, without attachment or conceptualization, From everything that is clear as the Dharmakaya, Where would abandonment, abiding, or effort arise? Because of abiding in the unchanging emptiness, There are no discordant signs whatsoever. Now listen again, Vajrasattva. In order to know the meaning of the essence and all signs, Not established on the ground, Self-illumination has no conceptualization of objects. All pure and impure, Because there is nothing to negate or affirm, The meaning of abiding and enjoying without distraction. Because there is no arising or dissolving, there is no need to meditate. Because there is no effort, it is the best of conduct. Now listen again to the essence of the Assemblage. Because self and other are not established from the beginning, Therefore, all that can be done and is done, Are the actions of the six realms and the deeds of the Sugatas. No matter how one acts, one abides primordially in the Dharmakaya, Therefore, there is no distinguishable characteristic. In the very act of doing, liberation is certain. There is naturally no taking or leaving. Therefore, how could it become a bond? From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the wondrous essence of meaning, the spontaneously arising wheel of bliss: The Seventeenth Chapter, Eliminating the Conceptual Thoughts of Vajrasattva. Vajrasattva requested again: For those who have experience of Samadhi, View, meditation, and conduct are the demons of experience. Please explain, King of Equality. Having heard the meaning of this request, He spoke to the assembled retinue: In Samadhi, post-meditation, and Bardo, Appearances are light, sounds are sound, Terrifying forms and deceptive illusions, If known as view, it is the supreme path. Now listen again to the essence of the Assemblage. When the supreme yogi enters Samadhi, Like the darkness of night in the clouds, The sunrise at dawn is extremely clear. The virtues and sins of sentient beings of the three realms, All that is before and after is known. At that time, the demon of compassion enters, And the pain of compassion for sentient beings arises. Abandoning Samadhi and working for the benefit of others, Therefore, one becomes controlled by demons and falls. Now listen again, Vajrasattva. Like enemies appearing in empty space, Showing various Sugata dharmas.

A field adorned with ornaments. Hear pleasant sounds. Abandoning samadhi, singing and dancing. Suddenly, a wonderful joy arises. If one becomes attached to this, one will lose the experience. If one is deceived by joy and excitement, one will fall. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. Whether it is a meditative experience or a dream. Frightening images, etc., if one thinks they are good. If one abides in that state, it will become a sin. If one loses samadhi, it will become the demon of sorrow. Unpleasantness, suffering, and distress will arise. At that time, one will become weary of work. Like a mute, wandering alone. Falling under the control of the demon of form. Now listen again to Vajrasattva. In experiences and dreams. Manifesting pleasant forms. Showing all the good and bad of the past, present, and future. If one speaks to others, it will become true. The demon of "I" arises. Abandoning samadhi, going to the village. Half true and half false in between. In the end, everything spoken is a lie. Falling by being deceived by deception and lies. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. The demon of view is those. Because one does not understand that this place is a wrong path. Attachment to appearances, forms, etc. When the environment and mind merge, the demon uses it accordingly. From the Great Perfection, the essence of the wonderful meaning, the Tantra of the Self-Arisen Wheel of Bliss. The eighteenth chapter, which explains the demon of the view of a yogi. Now listen again to Vajrasattva. The five senses sinking, the demon of clarity. Unmindful stupor, the demon of bliss. Distracted by circumstances, the demon of non-thought. The scattering, unmoving demons will arise. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. Wanting to quickly achieve samadhi. If one meditates for a long time, one cannot grasp it. Being deceived by the demon of intoxication purification. Being controlled by ignorance, falling asleep. Losing clarity, pacifying sinking. If one strives for that, samadhi will decline. Without seeking, good and bad dreams will arise. Therefore, being deceived by the demon of sinking. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. Because one has not realized self-awareness as the Dharmakaya. Being controlled by ignorance, obscuring wisdom. Being deceived by the demon of unmindfulness. Abiding in meditation, stupor, losing bliss. Because there is no self-awareness, quiescence sinks. Because there is no insight, it is separated from meaning. Meditating is meaningless, being deceived by the demon. Therefore, cherish the oral instructions that possess lineage. Now listen again to the bodhisattvas of the retinue. Not liking to be alone, liking to gather. Being influenced by the circumstances of others.
