The fruition Buddha appears at this time. Now listen again, all assembled retinue. A devoted disciple, full of compassion, Respectfully performs the tasks assigned. Generously offers pleasing substances without reservation. Explains to those who won't spread it and can keep secrets. But the unworthy vessel who lacks these qualities, Full of arrogance and conceit from loss, Stingy and ungenerous in giving, Greedy for instructions and spreads them to everyone, Short-sighted and disparages the lama, Poor in food but greatly devoted to wealth, Applies self-made intelligence to the Dharma, Untamed himself, yet shows off to others, Disregards karmic results and seeks fame, Makes reckless promises without considering inside or outside, To those unworthy vessels, If this true definitive meaning is taught, The dakinis will take their lives, And in the future, they will fall into the Avici hell. Therefore, do not teach the Dharma without examination. Now listen again, Vajrasattva. That which expresses meaning through words and letters, Having filled the content with the essence of instructions, In sections that do not contradict the meaning, Explains completely with few words and profound meaning. If someone does not understand in this way, Disturbs the order with meaningless words, Shows off skills, belittles the Dharma, and ruins the scriptures, Cannot withstand the rain of uninterrupted sins. The Great Perfection, the marvelous essence of meaning. From the Tantra of the Spontaneous Wheel of Bliss, The chapter on explaining the basis of meaning, the first. Then, the All-Knowing Teacher spoke, This root of definitive meaning. The essence, the nature of the ground, The meaning of view, meditation, conduct, and result, The qualities of realization, at this present time, I have spoken of the manifest accomplishment, listen. The essence without object, the self-born body, Samsara and nirvana, ignorance, have arisen from the beginning. That meaning has always existed in everything. Like unconditioned space. Now listen again to the essence of the assembly. Like a great garuda soaring, With unwavering confidence in the definitive view, Whatever appears in samsara and nirvana, There is no basis for grasping, clinging, or conceptualization. Like Maki Ta dancing, Through realizing the nature of the view, Whatever arises is not fabricated, the nature of reality is clear. Without acceptance or rejection, it abides in the continuum. Like the exquisite craftsmanship of Vishvakarman, In all the conduct of yoga, The root of wisdom is grasped by meaning. Unstained by the faults of wrongdoing, Like the qualities of a wish-fulfilling jewel, Through realizing the meaning of one's own mind as the Dharmakaya, In the human body, one meets the mind of the Buddha. The form body of those to be tamed arises from power. Now listen again, Vajrasattva. That
