As the essence is one, though words express it differently, all converge in the self-evident that is nowhere. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the Wondrous Essence of Meaning, the Self-Arisen Wheel of Bliss: The Second Chapter, which explains the ultimate meaning as being fundamentally one. Then, Vajrasattva, for the benefit of the assembled gathering, asked this question in his mind: The essence of non-appearance, what is its abiding nature? How is it that there is no change on the ground? And how is it present in all sentient beings? Please, All-Knowing King, explain. Having heard this question, he spoke to the assembled gathering: The essence of non-appearance, its abiding nature, before the absence of the three times, is self-arisen even before the past. Before the absence of cause and condition, the fruit is self-arisen, the heart essence appears. Before the absence of the great elements, I and space are simultaneous, therefore all Buddhas are myself. Before the absence of the teachings, one's own mind is earlier than the Buddhas. Before the absence of vehicles, one's own mind arises as the dharma of view. Before the absence of birth and death, one's own mind is earlier than nirvana. Dharmata Before the absence of emptiness, one's own mind is earlier than emptiness. Before the absence of Sugatas, the Dharmakaya is earlier than sentient beings. Before the absence of indicative words, this meaning is earlier than terminology. I am the causeless fruit, the self-arisen causeless heart essence. Therefore, it does not arise, and it does not cease. The one without birth and death is Vajradhara. I am the nature of space, without the imputation of latent impressions, without earth, water, or fire. In the essence of formless wisdom, without wind, how does fire arise? Therefore, it is the Svabhavikakaya. Now, again, Vajrasattva, listen! In the self-arisen essence, causeless, unborn, is truly present. In the awareness free from imputation and denigration, it abides continuously because there is no increase or decrease. In the true heart essence of enlightenment, there is no obstruction and nothing to abandon. Grasping at samsara and nirvana, these two, is terminology, but in reality, it is not so. The characteristic of the Dharmakaya is completely pure, in the selfless dharma there is no birth or death. In the essence, there is no need to meditate, like the nature of a lamp. It transcends the limits of existence and non-existence, therefore, its meaning is self-luminous, primordially pure, like space. The Great Perfection, the Wondrous Essence of Meaning, Self-Arisen

From the Tantra of the Wheel of Bliss: The Third Chapter, which explains the state of non-appearance. Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen! The root of self-awareness is the Dharmakaya, Complete without any remaining qualities. The self-born Buddha, the wisdom body, The unborn, perfectly accomplished deity. It is the source of all dharmas, Its essence is without object, beyond expression. With the ultimate, correct view, The paramitas are inherently present. The Buddha of all Buddhas, Turns the helm of all beings. In the fruit without creation, Miraculous displays arise without action. All is the power of my self-arising. Again, Vajrasattva, listen! The basis of the unchanging view in meaning, Not dependent on objects, self-arising Body. From the beginning, it is equal to the limit of space. From the basis, the unchanging Bodhicitta, In undefiled memory, The body that is vast and unmoving. The unborn, unceasing, self-aware expanse, Because it is unchanging, it is not found by meditation. Inseparable, it is now my heart, Even wandering for eons, there is no birth or death. Realizing this is the basis of all awareness. Unmeditated, wisdom is perfected, Because there is no hope, there is no prophecy. From the beginning, the unchanging wisdom body. The Great Perfection, the heart essence of wondrous meaning, from the Tantra of the Wheel of Self-Arisen Bliss: The Fourth Chapter, which is the chapter on the immutability from the basis. Again, Vajrasattva, listen! The self-arising essence body, Within the bodies of all sentient beings, The king of self-awareness, that wisdom, Inherently dwells in one's own mind. Again, listen to the essence of the gathering! The truly definitive Dharmakaya, Is not established as an entity, beyond objects. That continuous awareness, It dwells in the minds of all six realms of beings. Unborn wisdom is self-arising, Without deliberate action, naturally clear. That itself is only self-awareness, Because it cannot be altered, it is like space. In the four parts of the basis of all sentient beings, Whether the self-arising Dharmakaya exists or not, There is no prophecy, self-awareness is obscured by conditions. Therefore, one should realize what is inherently present. Again, Vajrasattva, listen! In the feelings of sentient beings' bodies, Self-aware wisdom is continuous and unbroken. Without gathering or scattering, it inherently dwells. Therefore, within the sheath of afflictions, Samantabhadra's wisdom dwells in the mind. Having realized the meaning of the definitive prophecy, There is no need to accomplish that meaning from elsewhere. Sentient beings
