Listen to the instructions for drinking. Offer one's own life and liberate those who break their vows. Yaksha Black Robe Duna Hring Dza. Enjoy the blood-flesh offering of the red bird. Gather life force and protect supreme accomplishment. Samaya Nara Kana. From the Wrathful Tantra of Glorious Great Black Robe, the Second Chapter: The Vow to Offer Life. Chatri himself then asked again: The lord of arrogance who emanates life force, who is the mother who ripens the empowerment? How does one keep the vows? Who is the deity who tames you? How does one perform the common practice and recitation? The retinue of body, speech, and mind activity messengers, the substances for practice that please and gather them, please speak to the assembled retinue. The Great Black One then spoke: Kye Kye, listen to the assembled retinue. In the place of precious nectar, make a square mandala the length of an arrow. A Dharma-source double-layered with four lotus petals, with four wheels on its outer layer. Or make eight lotus petals. A rosary of skulls with a vajra fence. Surrounded by a red-black mountain of fire, lotus wheels of directional colors. Piles of offerings as seen, vermillion. Five offerings, a great burnt offering, an island of reversed offerings. Prepare well with the gathering and so on, invite, seat, offer, and present the torma. Pacify, wrathful, straighten the mind, and empower. Thus, in the mandala of the fierce eight great charnel grounds of existence, Chatri the Powerful asked again: Glorious Great Terrifier, Kye. In this terrifying mandala, may the arrogant males and females return again. Please speak, Hero Lama. The Great Hero spoke: Ho, Glorious Blood-Drinking Father and Mother. It is good to enter this terrifying mandala. For the sake of protecting the Buddha's teachings, accomplish fierce activities. Om Mahakala Ekajati Abeshaya Mama Hum Hum. Wisdom descends and shakes, Mount Sumeru shakes, the ocean wanders. The earth quakes and blessings descend, in the immeasurable Buddha-fields, the signs of all practitioners arise. Then hold the vase well, listen to my command, arrogant assembly, look at this terrifying mandala. I am the Father and Mother Heruka, the terrifying sound blazes with fire. The five nectars are the substances of blood drinkers. Granting empowerment to quickly attain accomplishments. Āḥ mahākāla ekajaṭi mahāsukha amṛti abhiṣiñca ā (Sanskrit: आः महाकाल एकजटि महासुख अमृति अभिषिञ्च आ; Romanization: āḥ mahākāla ekajaṭi mahāsukha amṛti abhiṣiñca ā; Literal meaning: Ah! Great Black One, One-braided One, Great Bliss, Ambrosia, Empower, Ah!) Having received empowerment, practice mantra and samaya. Enter the door of mantra, regard as your own child. Showing the mirror and vermillion. Immaculate crystal ball, self-aware mind. From the appearances and sounds in the mirror, Father and Mother, inseparable, unite and play. In clarity and emptiness, grant empowerment. Oṃ hūṃ mahākāla ekajaṭi prajñājñāna abhiṣiñca hūṃ (Sanskrit: ॐ हूँ महाकाल एकजटि प्रज्ञाज्ञान अभिषिञ्च हूँ; Romanization: oṃ hūṃ mahākāla ekajaṭi prajñājñāna abhiṣiñca hūṃ; Literal meaning: Om Hum Great Black One One-braided Wisdom-Knowledge Empower Hum) Having received empowerment, abide in the supreme state. The Dharma practitioner accomplishes merely with intention. Ema! Look, look, look at the mind. The body is clear and empty, it is my body. Speech is sound and empty, it is my speech. The mind is awareness and empty, it is my mind. If you see its essence, there is no samsara. If you see its nature, it is becoming a Buddha. If you perform fierce compassionate actions, You will place the ten directions of realms in the state of liberation. O Blood-drinking, wise Heruka, May you also ripen me in this way. From the Tantra of Wrathful Body, Speech, and Mind, the Third Chapter on Empowerment. Again, supplicate Zati Wangchuk. The order of empowerment is thus. Please explain how to protect the samaya. The Great Blood Drinker said: In general, there are a hundred thousand samayas. The number of branches is the samaya, Protect the twenty samayas of practice. The root is body, speech, and mind. Protect the Guru, Yidam, self-arisen, Dharma friends, sisters, and sentient beings, do not be ashamed. Protect the moon, the blind, body, speech, and mind. If the number of branches has not diminished, The leader of the samaya holders will generate power. Being respected by many, fame will spread. Satisfied, one will eventually become a Buddha. If the samaya is violated, You will be born in the Vajra Hell. You will experience unbearable suffering. The premonition of violating the samaya is, Pestilence and disease will afflict. The senses will become dull, leprosy and sores will arise. Various undesirable things, Will destroy the violator of the samaya. Therefore, one should strive to perform prostrations and circumambulations, Recite mantras, confess, and meditate. For the samaya-holding practitioners, Gather like clouds, cherish like children.
