Because of the enthronement by the earth lords, He wears a dark blue-black robe. Because of the enthronement by the Lord of Death and demons, He holds a large sandalwood club in his hand. Because of the enthronement by all the gods, He possesses three great howls. In order to be victorious in the war against the asuras, He possesses three great laughter sounds. Because of the enthronement by all animals, He wears dark turquoise on his body. Because of the enthronement by the pretas, He possesses a necklace of burning jewels. Because of the enthronement by the hell beings, From his eyes blaze the great fires of the eon. From his nostrils rage the black winds of the eon. From his mouth surge the great floods of the eon. Enthroned as the commander of the gods' army. Enthroned as the great protector of the Dharma. Enthroned as the great protector. Exhaling white breath.

Innocent mother is the judge and witness, the Three Jewels are the judge and witness, the Buddhas of the three times are the judge and witness, the nectar of the sacred Dharma is the judge and witness, the Saṅgha of the ten directions is the judge and witness, the assembly of deities of the maṇḍala is the judge and witness, the Dharma-protecting sisters and brothers are the judge and witness, the ten guardians of the directions are the judge and witness, the eight classes of gods and demons are the judge and witness, the eight great nāgas are the judge and witness, the nāga kings of the four castes are the judge and witness, the hundred thousand tribes of nāga servants are the judge and witness, the great and powerful gnyan with their retinues are the judge and witness, the earth lords of the four castes are the judge and witness, the gods and demons of existence are the judge and witness, the eighty thousand classes of obstructing spirits are the judge and witness, the king Tsen and the demons together, you are present as judges and witnesses. We have not repaid, they have repaid. We are not guilty, they are guilty. Measure with the two, good and bad, obtain the line of the two, right and wrong. Inflict punishment on these asuras! Thus the gods struck the instruments, shed tears, and cried out in lamentation. This is from the Tantra of the Garland of Flames, in the presence of the assembled asuras, the gods invited and pleased the Auspicious Black One, and enthroned him as the commander of the army, which is the third chapter. Then, oṃ mahākāla rakṣa du viṃ nija. oṃ śrī mahākāla rūpa hūṃ phaṭ. Thus, urged by the gods from the vital point, the Auspicious Black One, the Skull Garland Holder, the eight great yakṣas of the north, transformed into eight iron eagles and went ahead, tearing apart the heads of those who broke their vows, becoming the enemy of the asuras. The eight executioners of Yama in the south, transformed into eight tigers, leopards, bears, brown bears, and wolves, followed behind and destroyed the asuras. Such a hero was urged by the gods. First, the lord of the gods, Indra, urged him: Hūṃ! Bhagavan, Vajrapāṇi, gave you the secret name, Vajra Corpse, Lord of the Cemetery, greatly pleased to dwell in the cemetery, calling you by the secret name, repel the battles of the asuras. Mañjuśrī gave the name, Black One, slayer of oath-eaters.
