The left hand is extended, the thumb presses the ring finger, holding a lute. The right hand uses the index finger and thumb to pluck. This is the hand seal of the Lotus Dance. With this mantra and hand seal, one can bestow the Dharma to all beings. Āḥ Nṛti Rāga Yā Mi. From the skillful means and wisdom of the right and left hands, with the great bliss of the vajra, perform the dance of great joy. This is the hand seal of the Karma Dance. With this mantra and hand seal, all Sugatas are pleased, and the eyes are also delighted. Āḥ Oṃ Vajra Dhūpe Dhu. The vajra palms are extended, and the index finger and thumb of both the right and left hands hold the handle of the incense burner. This is the hand seal of the Vajra Incense. With this mantra and hand seal, one can perform compassionate deeds that benefit beings. Oṃ Ratna Puṣpe Pu. The vajra palms are spread outwards, and the two thumbs are hooked together separately, making a gesture of scattering flowers. This is the hand seal of the Vajra Flower. With this mantra and hand seal, one can obtain the offering of loving-kindness. Āḥ Padmā Āloka Hariḥ. The two hands form vajra fists, and the two thumbs are raised, making a gesture of a lamp. This is the hand seal of Light. With this mantra and hand seal, one can engage in the supreme joy. Oṃ Vajra Gandhe Gana. The fingers of the left hand are extended, the thumb presses the index finger, forming the shape of a conch shell cup. The right hand uses the thumb and ring finger to make a gesture of scattering. This is the hand seal of the Fragrant Water Mother. With this mantra and hand seal, one can proclaim the melodious sound of equanimity. Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ. Vajra Citta Samaya Hūṃ. The vajra palms are crossed inwards, the two index fingers are raised and their tips touch, the thumb, little finger, and ring finger are hooked together. It is said to be the shape of the five peaks of the vajra. This is the hand seal of the Father of Samantabhadra's nature. With this mantra and hand seal, one can cut off all things and realize them in the state of wisdom. A A A Vajrī Bhadra Samanta Ā. The fingers are straight and extended, the palms are facing outwards, and the tips of the two ring fingers are raised. Making a gesture of holding a bell.
