The Great Tantra of Secret Vajrakila is present. In Sanskrit: Vajrakilaya Guhyamahatantra. In Tibetan: The Great Tantra of Secret Vajrakila. Homage to the Bhagavan, Lord of Secrets, the youthful embodiment of Vajrakrodha's body, speech, and mind, who knows all. At one time when this was taught and heard, the Bhagavan, Lord of Secrets, the essence of the three times, the body, the non-body, and the absence of body, the nature of vajra, wheel, jewel, lotus, and action, the essence of all lineages and wisdoms, the one who has mastered the miraculous manifestations of play, resided in a miraculous manifestation body that does not cease from the state of the unborn nature of reality. In the great mandala of the secret realm of Akanishta, the place where the Buddhas of the three times depart, dwell, and will dwell, made of precious substances and charnel grounds, with various shapes and colors, and the essence of which is layered, that is, in the palace of the clear expanse of wisdom, in the great expanse that is all-pervading, the father of the lineage and the mother of the lineage, as well as bodhisattvas and bodhisattva mothers, and the gatekeepers, including the emanations, all abide pervading like oil in sesame seeds, in the manner of existence and peace and awareness. In that very mandala of the retinue, the king, Vajradhara, also arose from his own body, speech, and mind, and stood before him as the supplicant with the courage to receive the teachings. From the Great Tantra of Secret Vajrakila, the first chapter, the Introduction. Then, the Bhagavan, Lord of Secrets, the three times, the three realms, samsara and nirvana, the grounds and the perfections, all defilements and purifications, the mundane and the supramundane, contaminated and uncontaminated, conditioned and unconditioned, expressible and inexpressible, with beginning and without beginning, with concept and without concept, ultimate truth and conventional truth, object to be accomplished and means of accomplishment, knowledge and object of knowledge, the laws of the mundane and the supramundane, with cause and effect, all that appears and is renowned, the miraculous

With the eye of wisdom, he illuminates all things, and also thoroughly observes. Having observed in this way, all dharmas are the nature of Bodhi, the self-nature of great emptiness, the Suchness that is beyond words and thought. He entered into samadhi in that very samadhi. Thereafter, the King Vajradhara rose from his seat, and with various clouds of outer and inner offerings, offered to the Bhagavan, the Lord of Secrets, prostrated hundreds of thousands of times, and while his mind was dwelling in the Dharmadhatu, he requested thus: Emaho! Sugata Bhagavan! Emaho! The most joyful Lord of Secrets! Emaho! The path of perfect purity! Wonderful arising, I bow to you! The true meaning of all mandalas is the nature of Bodhicitta. Please explain it to us. Thereafter, the Lord of Secrets said to Vajradhara: Vajradhara, listen, hold it well in your mind! This is what all the victorious ones of the past, and the Buddhas, the victorious ones of the present and future, have not spoken, and is difficult to speak. Why is that? That Suchness, the nature of Bodhicitta, is both unspeakable and difficult to find a vessel for. Vajradhara, therefore you should ask, having said this, he remained silent without saying anything. Thereafter, all the Tathagatas, such as the Wheel-Turners, urged Vajradhara, saying, Great Vajradhara, you are the one who is allowed to ask by the Tathagata, therefore, you should repeatedly ask the Bhagavan, the Lord of Secrets, to cut off all doubts. The Tathagata teaches the Dharma according to the vessel of the disciple, and also bless the Bodhisattvas of inferior intelligence. After urging him in this way, the King Vajradhara understood the urging of the Buddhas of the four families, blessed the many retinues to become vessels, and remained gazing at the face of the teacher. Thereafter, the King Vajrasamaja, with unconditioned offerings, unattached desirable objects, pervading all like the sky, and manifested from the mind, offered to the teacher, and requested thus:
