After reciting phaṭ (藏文：ཕཊ，梵文天城体：फट，梵文罗马拟音：phaṭ，汉语字面意思：phaṭ) and the seven "Ma" syllables, whatever object is visualized, strike it between black and white, separating the boundaries of good and evil karma. Absorb all pure objects and visualize them being devoured by the mother goddess. If struck in this way, even gods will die. One should meditate on oneself as the essence of objects, as the body of the ocean of subtle bindus, with a great and powerful form, a terrifying form with one head and five faces. Meditate on five dakinis on the head, baring fangs and laughing fiercely. All the mamos emanate from space, throwing powerful vajra kilas in their hands. Repeatedly recite the mantras of guiding, suppressing, and casting, cursing the yoginis, and urging the messengers. Place the object to be worked upon in the center of power, strike it between black and white, gather the consciousness into space, purify good and evil karma, and if you visualize dismembering and devouring it, even a vajra rock will crumble. There is no doubt in what I have said. After speaking thus, the five Buddha families and their retinues remained there. Vajrasattva rose from his seat, prostrated with gestures of dance, and spoke thus: "Please, Great Protector, reveal the blessings of the powerful mandala, the magical power of the powerful vajra kila, and the power of the mantras of guiding, suppressing, and casting." Having heard Vajrasattva's request, without saying anything, he entered the powerful samadhi. From within the samadhi, he recited: Vajrabandhajvālamaṇḍalabharutra, Bhagatratha, Tratrostvaṃbaṃkīlaya, Jaḥhūṃnana, Spharaṇaya, Cittasukhahuṃ. In the depths of the powerful open abyss, Vajrasattva and the five families, as well as those who subdue gods and demons, all fainted face down. The powerful mandala opened up, turning all the powerful mamos of existence face up, striking the kila at the boundary between the black and white heart, separating the boundaries of good and evil, and blessing them into bodhicitta. In this way, everything fainted.

My name is also called Vajrasattva, Therefore, in front of this supreme Bhagavan, even I faint from the miracle of the powerful mandala, What need is there to mention other disobedient ones? This great powerful mandala, Is the nature of unchanging in the three times, And also holds the most secret. Thus he requested. Then, by the miracle of the great powerful mandala, the heretic Mahakala was also completely suppressed. Chapter Twenty-Three, Subduing the Enemies and Obstacles of Yoga, is complete. Then perform the fire offering. Set up a hearth in the southeast corner, light a fire with wood of evil, and offer burnt offerings to all the deities of the mandala, or to one or two deities. Perform the fire offering many times. The hearth, offerings, and so on, can be learned from the instructions of the fire offering ritual. If the activity is not accomplished, it can be repeated up to three times. Also, all the minor activities of cutting off diseases, causing rain, fulfilling wishes and happiness, and the instructions for drying blood should be performed.
