Therefore, it is necessary to constantly subdue and kill. To say there is no sin through the cycle of karma. The characteristics of decline through signs are: Declining due to holding sectarian biases towards the Dharma, Declining due to harboring selfish views, Disturbing the minds of all oath-holders, Even while proclaiming the Dharma of no inherent existence, Yet clinging to the Dharma with signs, I enslave gods and demons as servants, Who can compete with me in magical powers? Great glory has arisen in my practice, I am the king of wrathful deities, Being wrathful towards others, engaging in harm and so forth. This is decline through signs, Even if subdued, the oath is not broken. Decline due to becoming desirous is: When explaining its characteristics, The listener does not understand, is not clear, Some, desiring great power and strength, Practice signs for the sake of activities, Holding human heads as sinful hand gestures, Dishevelling hair and gnashing teeth, Holding a blood torma to the chest, Draping field leather over the shoulders, Black feathers, meat, and fat, Carrying filled vessels and practicing inverted Dharma, Abandoning the meaning of all practices, Engaging in various inappropriate actions, Smearing blood on the face and countenance, Engaging in various actions that violate rules and break oaths, Acting rudely and not keeping vows, Slandering scriptures with rude behavior, Offending all Buddhas, Dragging yogis and mantra practitioners by their feet, Causing the Great Glorious One to be troubled, Scattering the food of mothers and dakinis, Defiling all yogis. What other characteristics are there? The characteristics of decline due to desire are: Being deceived by desire and wealth, Knowing that one will die, yet fainting from desire, Knowing it is essence, yet destroying mantra holders, Knowing it is poison, yet eating it as food, Knowing it is pestilence, yet slandering it with methods, Knowing it is a monk, yet causing him to fall. If wanting to obtain, stealing secret mantras, If there is something to eat, eating the food of yogis, Stealing the enjoyment of practice as food, Destroying practice and yogis for wealth. These are decline due to desire, If these are subdued, yogis will become pure, Taming and punishing, the Dharma will flourish, If eliminated and emptied, obstacles will be few, If these are not subdued, The heavens will decline and the hell realms will increase, Yogis and oath-holders will become lazy, The Dharma gate of the Great Vehicle Will be closed. If these are subdued, There will be no obstacles to the practice of yogis, The power of the Great Vehicle will flourish, The excellent qualities are beyond description. The ultimate of methods

Finally, if the power of Samadhi is small, if these liberations are performed, the time in hell will be shortened. This is the second chapter of the liberation ritual, indicating the objects of liberation. What should a yogi do? These are explained here. First, through the three wisdoms, have faith in the meaning of the reasons. Then, one must obtain empowerment, and with a compassionate heart, grasp the three realms of samsara. If one does not possess these meanings, has not obtained the definitive scriptures, slanders the wise, denigrates the secret mantra Mahayana, uses words presumptuously, breaks vows, and engages in meaningless chatter, these are not yogis, and should be known to be on the wrong path. Even if they practice, they will not achieve accomplishment, but will lose their own minds, and the result will be rebirth in the Avici hell. A yogi who engages in these activities is said to be among the lineage yogis. Clear the immeasurable vehicle in the mind, settle the view in impartial confidence, meditate without distraction, like a golden pillar, and protect the vows like guarding the vows of the Shravakas, hold all causes and methods of accomplishment, rely on wise people everywhere, hold objects and tools as symbols, accomplish meaning and oral instructions in the scriptures, behave uprightly, and have good and auspicious conduct, combine liberation and offerings without interruption, offer the aggregates to the deity, non-dual and inseparable, and let the mind rest in the nature of reality. Such a qualified yogi, having completed all activities, recites countless mantras, and the mantras and mudras have great power and blessings, and the activities and actions will not be disturbed by demons, and through steadfast effort, one will accomplish what is desired. Red Torma offering. Handle affairs with integrity, listen to instructions, be skilled in dispatching servants, and be auspicious in the activities of distinguishing and summoning. The messenger of violent means, through miraculous power and skillful means, accomplishes activities through conceptualization and signs. If these are done, they will not be wasted. Among the wise, the supreme is the one who has faith in the lineage and engages in practice. If signs of the Yidam deity appear, there will be no obstacles. Even if obstacles arise, they can be accomplished by merely touching them. Whoever is the yogi who engages in these other activities, can distinguish the differences in activities, abandon conceptualization and signs, act purely and without defilement, and adopt and abandon appropriately.
