Furthermore, through practice, the mass of light appears, filling the realms. The bindus become as small as mustard seeds. Awareness flits about like a bee drawn to nectar. Again, through practice, the mass of light fills the three thousand worlds. Primordial awareness is without day or night, and within the bindus are also forms—half-forms and subtle forms. The five aggregates appear as patterns. Awareness remains without movement or vibration. Awareness is clear in the realm of appearances. At such a time of arising, the appearances of the bardo are perfected in this life. In the future, there will be no bardo, and one will manifestly awaken as a buddha. Thirdly, when awareness reaches its limit, within each of the bindus above, the five families of fathers and mothers appear, five each. They are beyond number and unchanging, reaching their limit. At such a time of arising, there is no need to practice, for the appearances of the sambhogakaya are naturally present. Awareness reaching its limit is appearance. The marks and signs of the sambhogakaya are clear. The colors are uncertain, as clear as before. The five families are complete with fathers and mothers. Then, five by five, in pairs, the bindus are connected, brilliantly clear. They have the appearance of the forms of fathers and mothers. Deluded appearances are exhausted, and the pure lands expand. The five elements are purified in their own places, and the body of gross matter is liberated into a body of light. Fourthly, through the exhaustion of dharmata, appearance is as follows: The increase of those experiences and appearances above is exhaustion. Experience is exhausted in the state of clarity and emptiness. The body is exhausted, and the realms of the senses are also exhausted. Discursive thoughts, dualistic clinging, and delusion are exhausted. The words of speech are also exhausted. All signs of experience are perfected, and clinging to them is liberated in its own place. The appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata is a synonym for conventional terms. But in meaning, it is the purification of the original ground, and the essence reverts to its own place. One's own body is also nonexistent, and one manifestly awakens as a buddha in the nature of the dharmakaya. All is beyond the realm of expression, and it reverts to its own nature of emptiness and clarity. If one does not succeed in reaching the point of exhaustion, one will wander in samsara. From the Secret Tantra of the Luminous Sun of Kuntuzangmo, the actual, undefiled wisdom relies on the tantra and is practiced. This is the sixteenth chapter, the leap over the path of thögal. Profound seal. Strict seal. Treasure seal. Hidden seal. Alas! Listen, assembly of the gathered circle. This is the final support and backing of the trekchö and thögal above. Know it as the oral instructions, and do not reveal it.

Based on the three essentials, the vital point of wind and mind will be reached. The body has three positions of the illusion wheel, and possesses three ways of looking with the eyes. The mind is focused on the manifest Dharmadhatu. When the body does not move, the channels do not move; when the channels do not move, the eyes do not move; when the eyes do not move, the wind does not move; when the wind does not move, the mind does not change; when the mind does not move, conceptual thoughts cease; when conceptual thoughts cease, Dharmadhatu and awareness. Thus, these three are shown as the three immovables. Alas! Listen, assembly of gathered retinues. Thereafter, abiding needs to be measured, based on the three immovables, constantly abiding in the Dharmadhatu and awareness. Where awareness focuses and abides, the body also abides without moving. The two, wind and mind, abide without changing. Thus, when the three abidings arise, the measure is grasped by dreams, the signs appear in body, speech, and mind, the superior dissolves into the Dharmadhatu of dreams, the intermediate is in the clear light of dreams, knowing within the dream state of dreams. The inferior has good thoughts arising in dreams. Thus, the measure is grasped by dreams themselves. The signs and measures appear in body, speech, and mind. For each of the four appearances, the signs appear as three each. Among them, the first is the manifest Dharmata, the signs appear in three aspects: the body is without action, like a turtle placed in a wooden trough. Speech does not desire to speak, like a mute person. The mind is like a bird caught in a net, although conceptual thoughts are scattered, it focuses on one place. These are the three signs of manifest Dharmata. Now, for the experience of increasing sensations, the three signs of obtaining appearance: the body has no attachment, appearing like a man tormented by illness. Speech is like a madman, words without meaning. The mind is determined not to fall into Samsara, becoming like a man poisoned. The three signs of awareness reaching its limit: the body, for the five elements, has no obstruction, passing through unimpeded. Like an elephant sinking into the mud. Speech, as it is spoken, other beings listen and power arises. Like a clay pot filled with water. The mind does not fall into Samsara, realizing the one truth by understanding the essence. Like a man cured of measles. The appearance of Dharmata being exhausted, as a sign of confidence and liberation: the body is like a corpse in a charnel ground, without fear, naturally liberated.
