Among them, the Bonpo's horn substitute is to be explained: On top of a triangular black mandala, an effigy is placed inside the right horn of a yak, or the horn of a black yak. A white stone used in battle is smeared with blood, and a black stone from a corpse heap is smeared with poison. Action is taken by attaching (Tibetan: མཱ་ར་ཡ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: mara ya, Sanskrit Romanization: mara ya, Chinese literal meaning: Mara). Then, it is thrown at midnight. From the Black Obsidian Arising Tantra, the Fifth Chapter: The Bonpo's Horn Substitute. Next, the Bande black man's skull substitute is prepared: An effigy is placed inside the skull of someone who has no descendants, or someone who is defiled, or a leper, or a skull with six or eight pieces. All of the white mustard, black mustard, poison, and blood are blessed, and a thun ritual is performed. The skull is thrown as a substitute. From the Lord of Death Black Obsidian Arising Tantra, the Sixth Chapter: The Bande's Skull Substitute. The Monpa black man's bowl substitute is: Mixed with various poisons and blood, seven triangular bowls are made. Smoke, salt, garlic, and dregs are placed inside. After many blessings, it is thrown towards the enemy. When throwing the substitute, curses are thrown at the black and white pebbles. The Zhangblon's arrow substitute is prepared: An arrow made of three sections of arrow bamboo is adorned with the feathers of a crow, owl, and vulture.
