It is called the Radiant Land. Also, because it burns away the two obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, it is called the Radiant Land. With diligence and practice, practice is also difficult. The fifth ground is called Surujaya. Because it is extremely difficult to practice and meditate on the Four Noble Truths of the Aryas who have transcended the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and in order to purify the wisdom that does not abide in both samsara and nirvana, that ground is difficult to conquer or difficult to accomplish, and is called extremely difficult to practice. Or, it is called difficult to practice because the wise practice what is difficult to practice. With meditation and practice, samsara and nirvana become manifest. The sixth ground is called Abhimukha, which relies on the Prajna Paramita, does not abide in both samsara and nirvana, and dwells extensively in the wisdom of entering the signless nature with its own nature and manifests it, hence it is called manifest. Or, both samsara and nirvana are manifest. In accordance with the Prajna Paramita, it is far from afflictions. The seventh ground is called Duramgama, which is close to and far from the unique path that leads to the signless, hence it is called far gone. Or, it is far gone from afflictions. Means. It does not waver between the two, sign and signless. The eighth ground is called Achala. Because it cannot be moved by the two concepts of effort of sign and signless, it is called immovable. Or, it is not moved by the two concepts. Aspiration. Truly excellent wisdom is good. The ninth ground is called Sadhumati, because the ninth ground has attained the correct view of each, so the wisdom is superior to others, hence it is called excellent wisdom. Or, the correct view of each is better than other wisdom. Power. The cloud of Dharma pervades all. The tenth ground is called Dharma Megha. All the dharanis and samadhis also pervade everything like clouds, and the Dharma that is heard is like the sky, and pervades like clouds, hence it is called the cloud of Dharma. Or, it is pervaded by the cloud of samadhi. It is combined with the Prajna Paramita. It possesses the ten paramitas. ༈ The first ground does not cling to miserliness, so the Paramita of Generosity is perfected. Similarly, the second ground does not violate precepts, morality. The third ground does not anger, patience. The fourth ground does notེ་ལོ། Diligence. Fifth is restlessness, meditation. Sixth is ignorance. Prajñāpāramitā. Seventh is, unskilled in means. By means. Tenth is, how to contemplate the meaning that exists from the beginning. The Perfection of Wisdom is complete. First, seeing pure white. Śukla-vidarśana-bhūmi. From the ground of adhimukti-caryā, seeing pure white for the first time in warmth, it is called seeing pure white. Because of having lineage, the ground of lineage. Gotra-bhūmi. On the ground of greatly increasing faith, in the supreme of worldly dharma, because of enduring the selflessness of dharma and individuals, because of having the lineage of attaining the three bodhi, it is called the ground of lineage. Because of entering from number, the eighth ground. Aṣṭamika-bhūmi. It is called the eighth, from the first rank of attaining the fruit of Arhat, counting upwards, entering into the stream-enterer, entering into the eighth number. Seeing the reality of the eight, the ground of seeing. Darśana-bhūmi. Dṛśyāte-drekṣaṇa. Dṛśa is seeing, bhūmi is ground, because of abiding in the fruit of stream-entry, constantly seeing that reality, it is called the ground of seeing. The ground of thinning desire realm attachment. Tanū-bhūmi. Because the once-returner has thinned the attachment of the desire realm, it is called the ground of thinning. The ground of being free from desire attachment. Vigata-rāga-bhūmi. It is the ground of non-return, because abiding on this ground, desire for desire and harmful thoughts are abandoned, it is free from desire attachment, it is that ground. The ground of protecting what should be protected without diminishing. Kṛtāvi-bhūmi. It is called the ground of Arhat, kṛta is done, avi is aviduśīla, it is of the nature of protection, for the sake of protecting the meaning that has been done and accomplished before without diminishing, it is called the ground of done protection, in reality it is the ground of Arhat. The seven grounds of Hearers are established in this way. Srotāpanna. Srota is like a stream of water. Āpanna is entering, in general, it is entering into the stream of the river flowing into the ocean of Nirvana, Sakṛdāgāmī. Sakṛd is once. Āgāmī is coming.
