The red on the right is consistent with the central body, being dark blue. The first right hand holds a skull staff, the middle hand holds an enemy, and the last holds a sword of wisdom. The first left hand holds a threatening mudra, the middle hand holds a short spear, and the last holds a conch shell filled with red. Adorn the body with various cemetery ornaments, and visualize such an image. Then recite "spara na dza." Visualize all the worlds' realms filled with the bodies of Yama's messengers. Recite "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ༷, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum). Everything merges back into the body, and contemplate the body as vast as the world, exceedingly majestic. This practice should be recited continuously 562 times. Oṃ samaya msnru śi mutra yamya nta ka hana ma tha bharji hūṃ phaṭ. Then, on a cemetery cloth, draw the image of an enemy with Arjuna juice, neem tree juice, and three kinds of blood. Place it in a container with an evil name, and seal it with a woman's foot. Find a juniper tree with black roots, a gray trunk, and a yellow top, with no other trees around it. Make a twenty-four finger-length peg, and write "Oṃ vajra kwala dupa sirnyi steng hūṃ phaṭ ta a." (Tibetan: ཨཱོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀྭ་ལ་དུ་པ་སིརྙི་སྟེང་ཧཱུཾ༷་ཕཊ་ཏ་ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal Chinese Meaning:). Then insert it. Then enter the samadhi of the previous master, and visualize light radiating from yourself, striking the target image, causing it to burn to ashes. Merging back, visualize being in control of yourself, and recite this essence mantra eleven thousand times. Oṃ kwala rapa ta ha sta bha bā pratid phaṭ phaṭ ya ya na na na ṇa. From the Tantra of Black Yama, Chapter Eleven, concerning secret actions and samadhi. Then, the noble Manjushri Yamantaka, spoke the heart mantra, the ninth of the secret mantras. What is it? It is like this: the activity of pacifying, the activity of increasing, the activity of subjugating, the activity of summoning, 563 the activity of suppressing, the activity of intoxicating, the activity of killing, the activity of separating, and the activity of expelling. Among these, the activity of pacifying is: if one is to protect a woman by pacifying, on white silk, wheat, or clean white cloth, draw a twelve-spoked wheel with musk. Write twelve letters on the spokes, write the name of the one to be protected between the spokes, and then place the wheel in a box of earth element.

This is the activity of protecting a woman in a peaceful manner. If protecting a man, draw both the peaceful and increasing wheels identically with saffron. Write the name and lineage of the one to be acted upon up to "GRA HWA". Also, put it inside a fitted box 564, and pour in a mixture of butter and honey. Insert the wheel along with the name there as well. Wrap it with a yellow protection thread, place it on the platform, and cover it with yellow cloth. Offer yellow flowers during the three times. Sit facing north, and meditate on the deity Yamari, yellow in color, in an increasing posture. Meditate that both oneself and the object to be protected are situated on a lunar mandala like molten gold. In the hand, imagine a golden vase filled with a stream of yellow nectar, and bestow empowerment and recite. Between the two HOs, write the complete name and lineage of the one to be acted upon.
