Maternal vowel a! All dharmas should be known as mandalas. Having truly realized the conventional truth, one can comprehend the ultimate truth. That one is known as a wise person, therefore, O lion of speech, One should rely on the true conventional truth to realize the ultimate truth. From the Tantra of the King of All Tantras, the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse of Freedom, the chapter on view and conduct, Is the second chapter. Then, the Blessed One entered into the samadhi called "Definitive Explanation of the Essence of Enlightenment Thought." Having entered, he spoke thus to the assembled retinue: All dharmas are gathered into the mind of enlightenment. Know that they appear as the mind of enlightenment. Why is that? Because all dharmas are gathered into body, speech, and mind, therefore body, speech, and mind themselves appear as the aspect of dharma. The assembled retinue asked: How should we understand body, speech, and mind? The Supreme Lord declared: The characteristics of body, speech, and mind are such that mind is like the aspect of body and speech, speech is like the aspect of body and mind, and body is like the aspect of speech and mind. Understand your own body, speech, and mind, and then the mind of enlightenment will arise. Then again, the Blessed One entered into the samadhi of emptiness and spoke this mind of enlightenment: Emaho! Separated from things, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and abandoning the grasped and the grasper, since dharmas are without self and are of equal nature, since one's own mind is primordially unborn, it is the nature of emptiness. Thus he spoke. Then again, entering into the samadhi called the wisdom of the completely pure realm of dharma, he spoke this mind of enlightenment: Emaho! Wonderful! Amazing! The secret heart of all Buddhas, in the unborn nature of all dharmas, this birth is proclaimed exceedingly. There is neither birth nor non-birth, this is the teaching of the way of enlightenment. Thus he spoke. Then again, entering into the samadhi called clear like a mirror, he spoke this mind of enlightenment: Emaho! Wonderful! Amazing! The secret heart of all Buddhas, all dharmas do not

From the absence of existence, this cessation is thoroughly proclaimed. Absence and non-absence are taught as enlightenment. Thus it was said. Then, again, entering into the samadhi called the equality of all dharmas, this mind of enlightenment was spoken. Emaho, wondrous, how marvelous! The secret heart of all Buddhas. From all dharmas having no abiding place, this abiding place is thoroughly proclaimed. Abiding and non-abiding are taught as this way of enlightenment. Thus it was said. Then, again, entering into the samadhi called the thorough and complete discernment of all dharmas individually, this mind of enlightenment was spoken. Emaho, wondrous, how marvelous! The secret heart of all Buddhas. From all dharmas having no object of focus, this object of focus is thoroughly proclaimed. Object of focus and non-object of focus are taught as this mind of enlightenment. Thus it was said. Then, again, entering into the samadhi called all dharmas diligently engaging in action, this mind of enlightenment was spoken. Emaho, wondrous, how marvelous! The secret heart of all Buddhas. From all dharmas having no elaboration, elaboration and contraction are thoroughly proclaimed. Elaboration, contraction, existence, and non-existence are taught as this way of enlightenment. Thus it was said. Then the lion of speech, the lord of secrets, uttered the sound "Ala la," praising the mind of enlightenment: Emaho, emptiness, mind of enlightenment! Emaho, pure, without stain! Emaho, unobscured, great clarity! Emaho, equality, undifferentiated dharma! Emaho, individually self-aware mind! Emaho, effortless, spontaneously accomplished! I prostrate to the mind of enlightenment! Thus he praised. The Bhagavan is also the mind of enlightenment, and the very essence of enlightenment is also understood. We, the assembly of vidyadharas, aspire to the mind of enlightenment. Entering, rising, and abiding, may our own minds be moved. May we touch, draw near, and experience. With great compassion, we beseech you to consider. Sugata, we beseech you to consider. Having thus earnestly prayed, the Bhagavan's heart spoke thus: Emaho, the dharma that is primordially pure, in the variety of appearances, the appearance of conceptualization appears. The essence is inexpressible, and difficult to teach to those who are not vessels. Emaho! The three realms are primordially pure.
