In the palace on top of the head, by reciting "Padma Ya Sta Ta Tha Ah Hum (པདྨ་ཡ་སྟ་ཏ་ཐ་ཨ་ཧཾ་,padma ya sta ta tha a hum,Lotus Ya Sta Ta Tha Ah Hum)," visualize Amitabha Buddha with the mudra of Samadhi, surrounded by offerings such as incense, flowers, light, and fragrance. In the northern palace of the sword on top of the head, by reciting "Karma Ya Tha Sa To Ah Hum (ཀརྨ་ཡ་ཐ་ས་ཏོ་ཨ་ཧཾ་,karma ya tha sa to a hum,Karma Ya Tha Sa To Ah Hum)," in the northern palace on top of the head, visualize Amoghasiddhi Buddha with the mudra of granting refuge. Having visualized clearly in this way, meditate on being surrounded by the four—hook, lasso, chain, and bell—in sequence. Having visualized clearly in this way, meditate on the mandala of the five families on the head. There, each has the adornment of its own karma, the five principal deities of the families are surrounded by twenty goddesses. By performing the action of visualizing clearly in this way, one possesses the fruit of blessings. From the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse, the chapter on the Empty Mandala on the Head, the one hundred and forty-fourth section. From the palace of wisdom on the head, the green horse head is shown as the adornment of the head. Hayagriva roars like a horse, he is the king of wrathful deities. The green horse head has an upturned mane, three eyes flashing like stars. The ears are like cliffs, hearing the sounds of the past and future. The three eyes perform powerful activities. The green horse head has swift wisdom, the upturned mane reveals the nature of power. The white radiance of the forehead is a precious vase made of jewels. The vase is born from the nature of life. The radiance of the forehead is the gau of life. The crescent moons face each other, life is born from this. Ayu (梵文:Āyu,Life) is born from life, it is the form of father and mother. When method and wisdom unite, Ayu (梵文:Āyu,Life) shines with white light. When the sphere of reality and wisdom unite, white, unchanging, pure life. The life of the Dharma nature, Bodhicitta, Ayu (梵文:Āyu,Life) shines with red light. Wisdom, the sphere of reality, is the life of the mother. White and clear, it is the life of the father. Oily and blended, it is the life of the inseparable father and mother. The gau of life is born from this. Praise life and wisdom in myself. The body is red, burning like the fire at the end of an eon. Fierce weapons flash like stars. Small red-black wrathful deities gather like clouds. With a fierce demeanor, subdue demons and rakshasas. By uttering a clear, sharp sound, awaken the vows of the Buddhas of the three times. Completely destroy the three lower realms. The hair on the head is fiercely coiled. I prostrate to the powerful, subduing deity.
