The first chapter of the basis. Then, the Bhagavan Lord of Power, together with the foremost of the retinue, the wrathful one of the lineage, the great Padmakrodha Heruka, and the immeasurable hosts of the water-god lineage, in one voice, supplicated thus: Ema, Bhagavan Lord of Power! Supreme Tathagata of the Padma lineage! Of all the Buddhas of the three times! The nature of speech, the lord of speech! The master of speech, the source of speech! The supreme speech, the perfectly pure body! Unstained, imperishable, unstained speech! The lord of speech, the great speaker! We beseech you to listen, What does your body do? Likewise, what does your speech speak? What is the nature of your mind like? What qualities do you possess? What is the nature of your actions? What do you see with your gaze? Upon what do you meditate in samadhi? What conduct do you practice in the four times? What is it that is to be attained? May you quickly dispel these doubts of ours, O God of gods! May you pervade the realms of the three thousand worlds, With the power of your tongue! May you express the sweet sound of speech, To all beings without exception in the three realms, Clear, complete, and unmixed, Free from the faults of excess and deficiency, We beseech you to show it perfectly! Having supplicated thus, they remained in front with great reverence. Then, the Bhagavan, the Lord of Speech of all the Tathagatas, having entered into the samadhi that truly realizes the essence of the sound of all dharmas, the radiating light of the mudra of speech, manifested the great play of non-duality of father and mother, and pervading the mandala of the face with the power of the tongue, spoke these words: Ema Ho! I am the adornment of all bodies! I am the expanse of all speech! I am the sphere of all minds! I am the collection of all qualities! I am the performer of all actions without exception! I see myself as free from grasping and being grasped! I meditate on equanimity, unwavering! I act without obstruction, without effort! Body and wisdom are inseparable, That is what I am to attain! If your doubts, Have not obtained the power to dispel, Listen to my excellent teaching! The miraculous power by which all the Buddhas of the three times blessed my body.

Thus, the nature of complete purity is shown. With great compassion, he is extremely attached to sentient beings in samsara, therefore, he possesses a red-colored body. With the possession of the three complete kayas, he is adorned with three heads. The hair standing on end suppresses the womb of ignorance, the gate of Brahma. On the crown of his head is a green horse head, emitting a fierce horse neigh, which especially through the activity of power, subdues and subjugates the arrogant. From his mouth, he proclaims the fierce sound of Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧརཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:具大悲心) and Phaṭ (藏文:ཕཊ་,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:断), which tames the unruly and those with wrong views. From his nostrils, a fierce vajra windstorm swirls, shaking all realms of the world and subduing Brahma, the lord of the world, and others. His beard, mustache, and eyebrows are yellow, appearing to burn like the fire at the end of an eon, which eliminates all darkness of ignorance. His nine eyes burn and shine like the rays of the sun and moon, looking upon beings with compassion and placing them in their own lineage. His six hands possess the six abhijñās, accomplishing the benefit of all beings. Holding the vajra and bell, he abides in the nature of indivisible means and wisdom. The khaṭvāṅga cuts off the root of the three poisons of affliction. Holding the great snake lasso, he tames the wicked and holds them with compassion. He drinks from a red skull cup filled with blood and fat, completely exhausting all the suffering of samsara with great compassion. Holding the chain of iron hooks, he leads all beings of the three realms into the state of great bliss without abandoning them with compassion. Wearing the elephant skin and the great human skin, he goes to whichever of the sequential vehicles and constantly emanates the great compassion. Wrapping a tiger skin as a lower garment, he accomplishes the distinctions of activities without mixing them. Adorned with the eight great charnel ground ornaments, he subjugates the assembly of mamos and dakinis born from wisdom and karma. Adorned with the five great naga kings, he overwhelms the assembly of the wicked. Four feet in a posture of extending, contracting, and
