The empowerment vows are extremely detailed, The secrets of all the tantras are gathered, Completely shown to the fortunate retinue, Thus he spoke. From the Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra, the King of Tantras, the second chapter is the section on Opening the Occasion, Discussing Questions and Answers. Then, the entire assembled retinue, with one voice, requested the teacher, Samantabhadra, the Glorious Great Supreme Heruka: "O, O, all teachers, Samantabhadra, Great Glorious Supreme Heruka, That system of teaching the meaning of the tantras, Please bestow it upon us, the retinue!" After this request, the teacher himself spoke: "Oho, assembled retinue, listen with one mind! I will explain the system of teaching the meaning of the tantras. In the beginning, the alaya-vijnana is without fabrication or corruption, Without limitation or partiality in any way, Like the sky, empty and pervasive, Its own energy is stirred by the moving wind. By the grasping and fixation of ignorance and conceptualization, A knot is forcefully tied in the sky. Because self-awareness has not gained independence, By the power of movement, memory, and attachment, It wanders in the three realms and roams through the six destinies. From misunderstanding and wrong understanding, Samantabhadra, who has gained power over self-awareness, Taught various paths of liberation. If summarized, there are nine successive vehicles: The three vehicles of Sravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, Are intended for individuals of inferior faculties. The three vehicles of Kriya, Yoga, and Upa, Are intended for individuals of middling faculties. The three vehicles of Generation, Completion, and Ati, Are intended for individuals of superior faculties. If differentiated, there are differences in the nine levels of faculties, Each one has its own essence, Definition, distinctions, and self-chosen tenets, Entrance, view, conduct, meditation, and, Stages of activity and fruition are taught. Although the intentions of the Buddhas are various vehicles, The view of each higher one, Harms the lower ones, Therefore, the higher ones are progressively superior. In the renunciation of the three vehicles, One abides in the fruit of one vehicle. In that, samsara and nirvana are completely perfected, The ultimate meaning of definite yoga, Manifest and inferential cognition are valid means of knowledge. Enlightenment is manifested by the three syllables. Therefore, in this complete great tantra, Tantra, agama, and upadesa are completely perfected. The unique mind-tantra, There is no secret definitive meaning beyond this." Thus he spoke. From the Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra, the King of Tantras, the third chapter is the section on the Order of Teachings, Teaching the System of Vehicles. Then, again, the assembled

The retinues prayed to the teacher Samantabhadra, the glorious great supreme Heruka: Kye Kye Kye! Samantabhadra, teacher of the true meaning, The unsurpassed great supreme Heruka, King of the view of the meaning of the tantras, Please bestow your teachings upon us. Having considered this prayer, The great teacher gave the following teaching: Gathered retinues, listen with one-pointed attention. The king of the view of the meaning of the tantras Is this mind itself, without foundation. It is the root of all phenomena. The phenomena of samsara and nirvana, The dharmakaya, primordially uncreated, The ultimate intention and view Of all the sugatas of the three times, In the view that establishes existence as the basis, Samsara and nirvana are completely perfected, indivisible. It is none other than Heruka. The essence of the bindu, bodhicitta, is scattered. It is the reality of the true meaning. Free from elaboration, it is perfected as one bindu. Because it is self-arisen, self-manifest, and self-liberated, Rest in the uncreated, free from elaboration, natural state. Like a great garuda soaring in the sky, The general expanse of existence is cut off by waves. From the mind, all arises, the mind of the sugata. Buddhahood is within oneself, there is no other. By looking, the face of great glory is not seen. Words and symbols are beyond all examples. There is no duality of speaking and not speaking. There is no object of observation, no observer, without cessation. Realizing the meaning of non-duality is the dharmakaya. Look at your own knowing mind with your mind. The face is not established, the essence is empty. That emptiness is self-luminous. In the moment of luminosity, there is no thing. That which is without thingness arises clearly. Therefore, luminosity and emptiness are non-dual. Salé Hariga, without clinging or grasping. In that, the intention is completely fulfilled. The secret that is not understood by all, Because it is gathered within oneself, it is the Secret Gathering. It is the king of all vehicles. Thus he taught. From the King of Tantras, the Glorious Secret Gathering, the Fourth Chapter, which teaches the View. Then again, the assembled retinues Prayed to the teacher Samantabhadra, the glorious great supreme Heruka: Kye Kye Kye! Samantabhadra, uncreated by nature, The unchanging great supreme Heruka, King of the meditation of the meaning of the tantras, Please bestow your teachings upon us. Having considered this prayer, The great teacher gave the following teaching: Gathered retinues, listen with one-pointed attention. The king of the meditation of the meaning of the tantras Is to know the meaning of meditation without meditating, And to leave the three doors uncreated, as they are.
