The venerable one was told thus: "From the Vajra of the wisdom of the three bodies, the various mudras that arise authentically, listen with a mind of equanimity. For merely by binding them, one is completely liberated from all sins. This is the blessing of the body. If one meditates on one's own form, one will even attain Buddhahood. What need is there to desire other accomplishments?" With both hands holding fists, raising both thumbs, this is the mudra of the body blessing of the Thus-Gone One (Sanskrit, Tathāgata, IAST: Tathāgata, meaning: Thus-Gone One). From that, bending the left thumb inward and raising the right, this is the Lord of the World (Sanskrit, Lokeśvara, IAST: Lokeśvara, meaning: Lord of the World), the mudra of the speech blessing. From that, placing the right thumb inward and raising the left thumb, this is Vajradhara (Sanskrit, Vajradhara, IAST: Vajradhara, meaning: Vajra Holder), the mudra of the mind blessing. With the right hand holding a fist, and the left index finger raised, the right fist grasping the raised left index finger, this is the mudra called Vajra Vairocana (Sanskrit, Vairocana, IAST: Vairocana, meaning: All-Illuminating). Sitting in the bodhisattva posture, with the left hand placed on the lap and the right hand touching the earth, this is the mudra of Akshobhya (Sanskrit, Akshobhya, IAST: Akshobhya, meaning: Immovable). From that, with the right hand making the supreme generosity gesture, this is the mudra of Ratnasambhava (Sanskrit, Ratnasambhava, IAST: Ratnasambhava, meaning: Jewel-Born). From that, with both hands in the meditation posture, this is the mudra of Amitābha (Sanskrit, Amitābha, IAST: Amitābha, meaning: Immeasurable Light). From that, with the right hand giving fearlessness, this is the mudra of accomplishment that is not devoured by demons. With both hands holding the vajra, the middle fingers joined and raised, this is the mudra of Vajrasattvamātri (Sanskrit, Vajrasattvamātri, IAST: Vajrasattvamātri, meaning: Vajrasattva Mother). From that, bending the first joint of the middle finger, making it like a jewel, this is the mudra of Vajraratnamātri (Sanskrit, Vajraratnamātri, IAST: Vajraratnamātri, meaning: Vajra Jewel Mother). From that, making the middle finger like a lotus petal, in a circular shape, this is the mudra of Vajradharmamātri (Sanskrit, Vajradharmamātri, IAST: Vajradharmamātri, meaning: Vajra Dharma Mother). From that, contracting the middle finger inward, this is the mudra of Vajrakarmamātri (Sanskrit, Vajrakarmamātri, IAST: Vajrakarmamātri, meaning: Vajra Karma Mother). With both hands joined in the empty space of the palms, the two index fingers made like rings, and the tips of the thumbs made like eyes, this is the mudra of Buddhalocanā (Sanskrit, Buddhalocanā, IAST: Buddhalocanā, meaning: Buddha Eye). From the vajra-binding, raising the three joints of the middle fingers, the two index fingers held in the form of a vajra, this is the mudra of Māmakī (Sanskrit, Māmakī, IAST: Māmakī, meaning: Māmakī).
