Since the object of grasping is free from defilement, it is clear as the wisdom mind itself. By meditating on the unchanging Bodhicitta, the five signs indicate the path of life. They are separately shown in the realm of space, which is the appearance of the mandala of light. The inseparability of skillful means and wisdom is contemplated by gathering the essence within the form. The wisdom of a moment is clear, and it eliminates all obscurations. Then the retinue asked again: What is self-awareness, the Bodhicitta? What is its cause? What serves as its condition? How is the desired result achieved? When does it arise? How does it arise? What makes it definitely accomplished? What example closely represents it? What is its purpose? What is the way to represent its characteristics? The Bhagavan said: The basis, essence, and characteristics, etc., are all inherently self-perfected. Bodhicitta is free from extremes, neither abandoned nor attained, free from exaggeration and denigration. It is co-emergent and regarded as self, with the magical power of pervasive discrimination, equally endowed with afflictions and close clinging. The universal arising of habitual tendencies is the cause. The co-emergent condition is merit, non-merit, and unwavering action. The distinction between good and bad, subtle and gross, much and little, combines nirvana and samsara. The result is differentiated by the power of body, enjoyment, dharma, and the destiny of rebirth, according to how one thinks, aspires, and engages in action. Time is all three times, the state of confusion and non-confusion itself. Desire and non- desire, etc., arise in separate states. The principle is truth and falsehood, certainty and uncertainty, appearance and non-appearance. It is separated from various things, and one experiences different kinds of happiness and suffering that are obtained. In the uncreated, continuous moment, one pervades all three times and timelessness. One who realizes and does not realize, in one direction, definitely accomplishes everything. Like the root, fire wheel, etc., the precious cause is the sound of emptiness, the clear, defiled, moving, and various bodies. The representation is the near side of the example. One's own essence is the first, the yogi free from discrimination. On the basis of the cause and effect of the support, etc., it is the wrong path of refuting falsehood. Holding onto one and many, and possessing the nature of being free from the eight extremes, it is indicated by symbols, skillful means, blessings, and reasoning, and experienced through practice.

Knowing the self-nature. Then the retinue asked again: "Who is the teacher of all the tantras? What is the nature of their dwelling place? Likewise, what is the difference in their minds? What is the characteristic of the retinue? When will it occur? What is the nature of the succession of wisdom? What is meant by 'beginning'? Where should meaning be sought? What are the differences between them? With what are the limbs of the path summarized?" The Bhagavan replied: "Samantabhadra is the supreme meaning, All that is faultless is gathered together. Summarized by five, six, one, two, three, and four. Various appearances arise for the sake of those to be tamed. The secret lotus is the realm of space, Abiding in the boundless, inconceivable place. For all the families of fortunate individuals, There are five certain and uncertain. There is no difference in the mind, Although not indicated or spoken, Yet the various assemblies of body and speech, Are seen to show closeness to me. The listeners are of the three times, The Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, gods, and so on, Are the retinue that shows themselves in order. The three times, free from time, Are joined into the equality of the four times. In the perfect two, three, and disputes, Whatever is appropriate arises separately. Taming them according to their inclinations. Then the holders of wisdom, In the manner of outer, inner, and secret, The Shravakas, Bodhisattvas, and In the manner of holding asceticism, Simultaneously, gradually, and transcendently, The inferior, superior, and intermediate, In the manner of cause, path, and fruit, Action, intention, conduct, and Virtues are summarized by the grounds of the path. The beginner and the constant practitioner, With asceticism and equipoise, The conduct of the holders of wisdom is summarized. The ultimate is common. The beginning of all the tantras: ཨེ་བཾ་མ་ཡཱ་ཤྲུ་ཏ་བྷ་ག་བཱ་ན་ཀཱ་ཡ་བཱ་ཀ་ཙིཏྟ་སཾ་མུ་དི་ཏ། (Tibetan)ཨེ་ཝཾ་མ་ཡཱ་ཤྲུ་ཏ་བྷ་ག་ཝཱན་ཀཱ་ཡ་ཝཱ་ཀ་ཙིཏྟ་སཾ་མུ་དི་ཏ། (Sanskrit Devanagari)evam maya shruta bhagavan kaya vak chitta sammudita(Sanskrit Romanization)Thus have I heard, the Blessed One rejoiced in body, speech, and mind. (Sanskrit Devanagari)vajra manata yam banata(Sanskrit Romanization)Vajra pride, etc., binding.
