Also, this is one of the aims of liberation. The characteristics of falling away from the command are: if bound by vows, the body becomes filled with defilements; if mixed with fellow practitioners, obstacles are created; if secret instructions are shown, accusations are made; if truth is shown, one is led astray; if signs of meaning are shown, one clings to wrong paths. This is a great fall, and one should diligently strive to liberate from it. The characteristics of falling away from meaning are: doing various things that should not be done; openly clinging to objects and tools; using tantra, gaṇa, union, and liberation for material things; abandoning view and meditation; accepting rude behavior; letting anger, ferocity, and pride run wild; misunderstanding the secret instructions of meaning; teaching wrong dharma to guide others; being skilled in inverted meanings; abandoning commands and scriptures and engaging in extensive writing; practicing all kinds of wrong conduct. This is the real Rudra, and even if one performs manifest actions of liberation, sin is not concealed. The characteristics of falling away from action are: towards those who are different in self and birthplace, coming for revenge in the work of liberation, without any previous enmity, yet remembering falling upon a vulture, not listening to peace and honesty, falsely accusing others, relying on force to seek quarrels, laughing with the mouth and tongue, changing facial expressions, arguing with oneself where there is no room for argument, taking from oneself where there is no need to take, not remembering one's own faults, and not thinking of arguing, yet action imposes guilt on oneself, and one exerts power and skill on oneself. This is the fall from action, therefore, this is also one of the aims of liberation. Furthermore, the fall from action is: seeking obstacles in unimportant matters, harming oneself in matters without benefit, coming to practice in matters without result. These are the signs of falling from action, therefore, one should diligently strive to liberate from this. The cycle of action says there is no sin. The characteristics of falling away from signs are: holding sectarian biases towards the Dharma, slandering views, disturbing the meaning of yogis in conduct, even if teaching the Dharma of no self-nature, clinging to the Dharma with signs, making gods and demons one's servants, who can compete with me in magical powers? Great splendor has arisen in my practice, I am the king of wrathful ones, harming others, anger, etc. This is falling away from signs, and even if liberation is performed, vows are not broken. Becoming an evil fall is: not having a clear understanding when listening, because of desiring noise, great power, and skill, action

They engage in improper conduct for their own benefit, holding human heads as weapons of intimidation, disheveling their hair and grinding their teeth. They carry red argha (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) on their chests, and wear animal hides from fields on their shoulders. They adorn themselves with crow feathers, black flesh, and fat. Carrying containers filled with things, they practice inverted dharma. Their conduct is incorrect, abandoning the proper teachings, and they engage in various inappropriate actions. They smear blood on their faces, and commit various acts that violate and contradict vows. They act wastefully, not upholding their vows, and disparage the teachings with crude behavior. They offend all the Buddhas, drag down yogis and mantra practitioners, and cause distress to the great blood-drinking deities. They scatter food offerings to dakinis and flesh-eating spirits, and defile the vows of all yogis. This is the single aim of subjugation. The characteristics of those who have degenerated due to desire are: their hearts are hollowed out by attachment to wealth, and even though they are destined to die, they are overcome by desire. Even though they know they will be ruined, they destroy mantra holders. Even though it appears as poison, they consume it as food. Even if it is powerful, they denigrate it through skillful means. Desiring to obtain it, they steal secret mantras, and steal the materials for accomplishing food. For the sake of wealth, they destroy the practice of yoga. If these can be subjugated, the yogi is virtuous. By subduing and punishing them, the teachings flourish. If they are absent and empty, obstacles are reduced. If these are not subjugated, the higher realms will decline and the hell realms will increase. Yogis and vow-holders will become lazy, and the door to the Great Vehicle will be closed. If these are subjugated, the state of hell will become short-lived. The times for striking are indicated as: the day of the empty sky, the eighth day of the lunar month, the fifteenth, the twenty-second, the sixteenth, the fourteenth, the twenty-third, the eighteenth, and the twentieth are also days for striking. Between the thirteenth and sixteenth, the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-ninth are the days when the time for striking arrives. The seventeenth, nineteenth, first day of the lunar month, the twenty-eighth, and the day of the empty sky, the fifteenth, the sixth day of the lunar month, the eleventh, the twenty-fifth, the third, the second, the eighteenth, the twentieth, and the twenty-seventh, one should not strike on these days. If one strikes on these days, the yogi and his retinue will be destroyed. The planets Mars and Jupiter should be struck when the time for striking arrives. First, establish the mandala according to the scriptures, and complete the rituals of approach and accomplishment. Recite the mantra a hundred thousand times, without interruption day and night.
