Benefiting all beings, the pervasive lord benefits me, for my own benefit, out of love for me, to eliminate all defilements, to know all ignorance, with the intention of supreme wisdom, according to the difference of intention, with the vehicle that matches the intellect, for the sake of attaining the supreme fruit, sentient beings and faithful retinues, I will explain the naked seeing of the self-nature of enlightenment. Retinues, do not be distracted, listen with reverence. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) Although it is far from the beginning, non-existence, and name, in order to not be separated from understanding, I will explain the pure essence to the retinue. Before there was anything, names and terms could not reach it, possessing all aspects and yet without aspects. That genuine reality without substance, the basis of primordial purity, the basis of all. Nothing at all, appearing as everything, completely non-existent, unknowing, clear and empty. That very nature transcends the realm of consciousness. The first Buddha is without cause, and because there is no beginning, there is no elaboration. The Buddha has no beginning and no end. Truly abiding at the limit. True selflessness is just as it is. Holding the nature of non-dual wisdom. Possessing wisdom, knowing existence and non-existence. The single eye of wisdom is pure from the beginning. Spontaneously accomplished without conceptualization. Without end, without comparison. Invisible, unseen, not illuminating. Immutable, all-pervading, that is it. An example that transcends all. Just pointing this out with a name, but the primordial Buddha cannot be represented. Without substance, beyond mind, without words. Thus it is said. In the tantra of the piled mountain, which is the essence of the intention of all Buddhas, before there was anything, the primordial purity of no substance, no knowledge, no representation, it is taught that it transcends names, metaphors, words, and letters. This is the third chapter. Then, the radiant one of pure essence, to the primordial, original pure Buddha, asked: What is the basis of the Buddha's sentient beings? The Blessed One said to the retinue: Although there is no difference in the pure essence of the beginning, listen to the explanation of the awareness of the potential. The basis of the Buddha's sentient beings, samsara and nirvana, the basis of pervasiveness, the basis of movement, the basis of arising, is the basis of all, the vast and pervasive space. The basis of the Buddha's sentient beings, samsara and nirvana, in the realm of insubstantial equality, is the great treasure of all arising. The rays of potential are the treasury from which various things arise, like the treasury of the ocean, earth, and gold.

Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Stacked Mountain, the chapter on showing the basis of Buddha and sentient beings, which is the fourth. Then, by the self-clear and pure one, to the primordial, originally pure Buddha, it was asked: When the basis of the two is equal, from where do the faults of increase and decrease arise? Having been asked, the teacher instructed the assembly: With the essence pervading equally, from the two, awareness and ignorance, the two, increase and decrease, arise. From the two, movement and non-movement, the two, the three kayas and the three poisons, arise. From the two, change and non-change, the delusion of the primordial Buddha arises. From the two, grasping and non-grasping, the two, knowing and not knowing, arise. From the two, meeting and not meeting, the two, the door of manifestation and the door of delusion, arise. From the two, realization and non-realization, the two, the three kayas and the three realms, arise. Essence is one, but appearances are two, the two, realization and non-realization. Not one, not two, is it yes or no? Like a pigeon, body color and fragrance are similar. Essence is one, but appearances are two, the two, conditions and what is met, medicine and poison. The one basis that is the universal doer of the non-existent, from the two, realization and non-realization, the two, Buddha and sentient beings, arise. The one basis, the force with reversion and non-reversion, from where did it first arise? With reversion and non-reversion. Understanding the meaning is the originally pure Dharmakaya, not understanding it wanders in the six realms. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Stacked Mountain, the chapter on showing increase and decrease, which is the fifth. Then, by the self-clear and pure one, to the primordial, originally pure Buddha, it was asked: How are its qualities and faults? Having been asked, the teacher instructed the assembly: If realized, there are no qualities and faults, if not realized, qualities and faults arise in the mind. The root of faults is the movement of wind, if wisdom becomes wind, mental thoughts cannot arise. If awareness dissolves into the essence, it cannot move. If the essence dissolves into awareness, then initially it is the primordial Buddha. If the essence meets the mother, then wisdom seizes its own ground. Awareness, mind, and ignorance are cut off from the root, delusion is purified from the beginning. In the expanse of the essence, qualities are inconceivable. The measure of realization, the measure of knowledge, the qualities cannot be spoken. Like the realm of space and the appearance of the sun, moon, and jewels. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Stacked Mountain, the chapter on showing the qualities of the originally pure Buddha, which is the sixth.
