Ember! (Radiant!) The sun rises from the five grains, Bowing and gazing with the light of a smile. Marked by lotuses and other dragon trees, The precious sprout, the sword, blazes, The white lotus, the vajra, blazes, The Dharma wheel is a jewel, A beautiful form, a precious garland, The lute player is the supreme one, A flower garland, an incense offering woman, With butter and other applications, Devoted to action and steadfast in Dharma. The heads come forth in a gesture of reverence, Like the four great mudras above, Absorbed in the state of non-dual space. The four doors of the great mudra are: Nṛ (Sanskrit: नृ, meaning: man) with the head raised and suppressed by the vajra, Suppressed by the great skull garland, The crossed vajra suppresses with action, Hook, lasso, Sphoṭa (Sanskrit: स्फोटो, meaning: bursting forth) Hoḥ! Those who abide in the four doors, The gesture of reverence Like the entanglement above. The six Thubpas (able ones) have various mudras, In short, there are six mudras. Oblique and lute, Armor, scripture, precious box, Clearly shown as fire and water. The mother is the non-dual realm of Dharma, Samantabhadra in equipoise, wisdom radiating, The mother transforms, complete equality in the center of the lotus. Furthermore, there are various mudras, Or the Tathagata himself, Or the vajra palms themselves. The great mudra, the supreme gathering, If endowed with skillful means and wisdom, Unmoving, unshaken, all things, Abide in the state of the great mudra. Endowed with forty-two limbs, That itself is the lord of the limbs' elaboration, The forty-two limbs blaze with a triple radiance. The chief of those thus endowed, Like the ocean of Buddhas, The light of twelve sixes blazes. Such and so forth are inconceivable, In the ten directions and four times, in the inconceivable, Showing separately the meanings of taming. All the high and low vehicles, And the inverted and confused are inconceivable, To all the peaceful and wrathful great assemblies, Each is adapted and universally appears. Like a dancer, Without leaving the body, showing various forms. In short, all mudras, Cannot be said to be this or that, or one, Emanating as two and three, Action and play are just like that. In short, all actions and movements, Abide in the state of the great mudra, Abiding itself is neither non-abiding nor abiding. Thus spoke the supreme one. The thumb and forefinger hold the vajra, The thumb and middle finger hold the Victorious One, The ring finger
