对于世俗执着的凡夫俗子来说，如果他们生于此地，就会放纵自己对众生的贪欲，奸淫他人守护的妇女等，以众生为生育的工具，不适时地杀害他们等等。即使是修行圣法的人，也会违犯时规和处所规矩，仅仅是修习艰难的密宗行为，像普通人一样行事，将深奥的密宗行为暴露给普通人观看和效仿。由于业力的牵引，他们会生于那个地方，在那里遭受极大的痛苦，令人怜悯。什么是愚痴地狱呢？在极其难以忍受的地狱中，从头到尾被划上八条线，深度也被切割成八段，由于业力的作用，它们会立即粘合在一起，然后再次被切割。在这样的地方，极度痛苦的寿命长达六十千大劫，并将在此处得到净化。这是什么业力成熟所导致的呢？由于没有听闻根本的食子，被暂时的烦恼业障所遮蔽，当他们转世为凡夫俗子时，既看不到佛陀的面容，哪怕是像阳光一样，也听不到哪怕一句关于法性真理的话语，像愚蠢的畜生一样做着恶劣的行为。即使是安住于圣法的人，也不会将法性放在心上，心为欲望所动摇，沉溺于喧嚣和虚伪的行为中，浪费享乐和懒惰，对他人进行极大的诽谤，对救度众生的事业敷衍了事，为了世俗的占卜而进行预测和算命。由于这些业力的牵引，他们会生于那个地方，在那里遭受极大的痛苦。什么是散乱地狱呢？在极其不合时宜的地方，一会儿被煮，一会儿被冻，一会儿又用剃刀刮头。在那里，极度痛苦的寿命长达五十大劫，并将在此处得到净化。这是什么业力成熟所导致的呢？由于根本食子的意义没有在心中显现，当人们做着凡夫俗子的事情时，就会说出欺骗、断绝和不相干的散乱之语。

For ordinary people attached to worldly things, if they are born in such a place, they will indulge their desires for sentient beings, commit adultery with women protected by others, and use sentient beings as tools for procreation, killing them at inappropriate times, and so on. Even those who practice the holy Dharma will violate the rules of time and place, merely engaging in difficult Tantric practices, acting like ordinary people, and exposing profound Tantric practices for ordinary people to see and imitate. Due to the force of karma, they will be born in that place, where they will suffer greatly and be pitiable. What is the Hell of Ignorance? In an extremely unbearable hell, eight lines are drawn from head to toe, and the depth is also cut into eight sections. Due to the force of karma, they will immediately stick together and then be cut again. In such a place, the lifespan of extreme suffering lasts for sixty thousand great kalpas, and they will be purified there. What karma maturation leads to this? Because they have not heard the root Torma, they are obscured by temporary afflictive karma. When they are reborn as ordinary people, they will not see the face of the Buddha, not even a ray of sunlight, nor will they hear even a single word about the truth of Dharma, doing evil deeds like foolish animals. Even those who abide in the holy Dharma will not keep the Dharma in mind, their minds will be shaken by desires, indulging in noisy and false behaviors, wasting enjoyment and laziness, greatly slandering others, and being perfunctory in the work of saving sentient beings, making predictions and fortune-telling for worldly divination. Due to these karmic forces, they will be born in that place, where they will suffer greatly. What is the Hell of Distraction? In extremely inappropriate places, they are sometimes boiled, sometimes frozen, and sometimes have their heads shaved with razors. There, the lifespan of extreme suffering lasts for fifty great kalpas, and they will be purified there. What karma maturation leads to this? Because the meaning of the root Torma has not appeared in their minds, when people are doing the things of ordinary people, they will speak deceptive, severing, and irrelevant scattered words.

说，以及听闻他人如此说，做出杀、砍、打等行为，即使是安住于修行正法之道的人，对于甚深秘密的教言，不具器者，未得自在而妄说，以及坦特罗（tantra）的事业，使修行之处衰败，被所有恶人所诽谤的人，因业力的作用而生于彼处，极其痛苦，可悲。其中，行淫地狱是怎样的呢？在极其寒冷的地狱中，冻僵而腹部相连之处，身体如莲花和巨莲般裂开，极其痛苦，其寿命长达三万劫，并将被净化。这由何种业的成熟所致呢？由于未达到根本朵玛（gtor ma）的意义，对于做世俗之人事者，舍弃三世父母而依止恶人，舍弃善业而依止恶业，即使是修行正法之人，也舍弃大乘之法，而修习下乘之法，对身体和口诀进行诽谤，喜爱学习诗歌、韵律和歌曲等行为，因此生于彼处，在那里受苦，可悲。其中，追赶地狱是怎样的呢？在攀登铁制夏玛里山时，亲友因爱而哭喊等，极其痛苦，其寿命长达两万劫，并将被净化。这由何种业的成熟所致呢？由于未听闻根本朵玛（gtor ma），对于做世俗之人事者，追赶并杀害鹿等众多有情，即使是做神圣正法之人，也转变为出家之身，对众多有情无法忍受而殴打，追赶、杀害磨坊，以及以欺骗、狡诈、手段和欺骗等方式进行买卖的业力成熟，因此生于彼处，极其痛苦，可悲。其中，逃逸地狱是怎样的呢？在极其喜欢杀戮的地方，阎罗大屠夫抓住头，将腰、颈和脚砍成三段，杀死并吃掉，刚死就恢复为一个身体而复活等，又死又

Speaking, and listening to others speaking like that, doing actions such as killing, cutting, and beating, even if one is abiding on the path of practicing the Dharma, for those who are not vessels for the profound secret teachings, who speak wantonly without having obtained mastery over the nine appearances, and for those whose Tantric activities cause the place of practice to decline and are condemned by all evil people, due to the power of karma, they are born in that place, extremely suffering and pitiable. Among them, what is the Hell of Indulgence? In the extremely cold hell, where the frozen are attached to the abdomen, the body cracks like a lotus and a great lotus, extremely painful, the lifespan is thirty thousand kalpas, and will be purified. From what kind of karmic ripening does this arise? Because the meaning of the root Torma (gtor ma) has not been reached, for those who do worldly affairs, abandoning the parents of the three times and relying on evil people, abandoning virtuous deeds and relying on non-virtuous deeds, even if one is a practitioner of the Dharma, abandoning the Mahayana Dharma and practicing the Hinayana Dharma, slandering the body and the oral instructions, delighting in learning poetry, rhyme, and songs, etc., therefore they are born in that place, suffering there, pitiable. Among them, what is the Hell of Pursuit? While climbing the iron Shalmali mountain, relatives and friends cry out of love, etc., extremely painful, the lifespan is twenty thousand kalpas, and will be purified. From what kind of karmic ripening does this arise? Because the root Torma (gtor ma) has not been heard, for those who do worldly affairs, chasing and killing many sentient beings such as deer, even if one is doing sacred Dharma, transforming into the body of a renunciate, unable to bear many sentient beings and beating them, chasing and killing mills, and the karmic ripening of trading with deception, cunning, means, and deceit, etc., therefore they are born in that place, extremely suffering, pitiable. Among them, what is the Hell of Escape? In a place where one is extremely fond of killing, the great Yama butcher grabs the head and cuts the waist, neck, and feet into three pieces, kills and eats them, and immediately after death, takes one body and revives, etc., dying again and again.
