Release. The two, acceptance and rejection, are distinguished. The two, good and bad, are mixed with afflictions. Buddhas and sentient beings are made into one. Heaven and hell are intermingled. Offer it to the face of great bliss. Purify hell within the nature of reality. May the hunger and thirst of pretas be burned by (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: rang). May the ignorance of animals be dispelled by (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: यं, Sanskrit Romanization: yaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: yang). May the suffering of humans be washed away by (Tibetan: ཁཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: खं, Sanskrit Romanization: khaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: kham). May the strife of asuras be pacified by (Tibetan: ལཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: लं, Sanskrit Romanization: laṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: lang). May the jealousy of gods be purified by (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ऐ, Sanskrit Romanization: ai, Literal Chinese meaning: ai). Gather everything into the realm of great bliss. By awakening to the great self, there is no name of self or other. The actions of the Buddha are performed in this way. Realization and practice are practiced in this way. In the nature of vast space, all phenomena appear like reflections. In the view of vast realization, all grasping and concepts are accommodated. Not only accommodated, but completely accommodated. Appearance and existence are blissful outwardly through realization. Ultimate truth is blissful inwardly through realization. Non-duality is blissful in non-duality through realization. If you realize that sentient beings are Buddhas, then seeking Buddhahood from elsewhere is a mistaken path. If you realize that appearance and existence are the nature of reality, then seeking the nature of reality from elsewhere is a mistaken path. Because everything is gathered, the realm is vast. Because everything is completely gathered, the bindu is vast. Because of conceptualizing everything, wisdom is vast. Whoever abandons conceptualization and flaunts wisdom, is overcome by the actions of delusion and confusion. With errors that do not accord with meaning, one understands nothing, one does not understand meaning. One does not realize anything, one does not realize meaning. Even Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are demons to those who do not realize. Demons and wrong teachings, if realized, become gods. The king of the gods leads the army, engages in battle without birth or death, arises together without good or bad, strikes fiercely without partiality. Phenomena and characteristics are completely abandoned. The Buddhas of the five families are relieved of their weariness. The king of realization is without fear. The path is a direct path, complete with bliss, from the unconditioned nature of reality, the ground is naturally accomplished. Samantabhadra is without artifice. Whoever abides in that nature, realization is inherently great. Understand the yoga of realizing meaning. What is the yoga of holding meaning? If you wish to seek great realization, then seek it from this chapter. The Sixteenth Chapter: Realization is Inherently Great. This instruction of Samantabhadra, whoever merely holds its name, I have explained the realization of the nature of reality.

Emaho! It is the sovereign of all Buddhas. By hearing this, one attains Buddhahood. In the self-nature of all things, through this lineage, wisdom abides. This instruction is me, thus spoke Kuntuzangpo. If you wish to realize my very self, contemplate this instruction. Having thus spoken completely, Kuntuzangpo Buddha declared: In all phenomena and existence without partiality, through the means of non-contrivance, one attains the body of non-attainment. Having attained the fruit of non-accomplishment, without seeking its nature, one knows the meaning of Buddhahood without being taught by anyone. Without being shown by anyone, one knows oneself. The king of all views, the great Kuntuzangpo, the tantra of self-abiding, the essence of the heart essence of instructions, the true words are complete. Then, in order to ensure that those who realize the meaning of the great Kuntuzangpo, the tantra of self-abiding, remember the meaning of these nine great self-abiding states. What are they? All causes and effects abide by themselves without being sought; all samsara and nirvana abide by themselves without being born; all outer and inner containers and contents abide by themselves as the Dharmakaya; all Buddhas and sentient beings abide by themselves without being two; all happiness and suffering abide by themselves without being contrived; all good and bad abide by themselves without being moved; all high and low, large and small, abide by themselves without being contrived; all birth, death, change, and transformation abide by themselves without changing; all acceptance and rejection, attachment and aversion, abide by themselves without partiality. Among them, the self-abiding without seeking cause and effect is: the eighty-four thousand dharmas and all the causes and effects and vehicles that are taught, the secret is definitely in the single realm, and there is no need to seek and practice in stages. Even the gradual arising of cause and effect, such as summer, winter, autumn, and spring, is not taught as cause and effect because the three times do not change. If one's own mind is not a Buddha, just as a plum does not turn into a jewel, no matter what karma and ripening are sought, one will not attain Buddhahood. If one knows that the cause is the fruit, just as the earth is gold, it is pure from the beginning, and the mind does not move the realm with the thought of seeking. Buddha is in the mind without effort.
