Merely visualizing the images of symbols and imitating mudras, even if one meditates on samadhi with signs, one's own yoga will not arise; for those who are devoted to bodhicitta, their own yoga will become a deity. Therefore, with focused diligence, strive to practice the signless. Thus it is said. The King of Tantras, the Tathagata of all. From the Tantra of the Secret Cemetery Cuckoo's Play, the fourth chapter, the chapter on the Mandala of Samadhi. Then, before the Bhagavan, Lord of Secrets, Vajra Mind Samantabhadra asked: Bhagavan, please explain the characteristics of the mantras and mudras of all the Buddhas for the benefit of all sentient beings. Sugata, please explain. Then, the Bhagavan, Lord of Secrets, explained these mantras and mudras. Great Bodhisattva, listen. This is the essence of the activities of all the Buddhas. Whoever has faith in this will become like the illuminating Bodhisattva. Om Buddha Vairocana Om. With both hands holding fists, the index finger of the left hand is extended, and the tip is held by the fist of the right hand, this is the mudra of the illuminating Bodhisattva. Merely forming this mudra, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will be very pleased and satisfied, and unsurpassed bodhi will undoubtedly be attained. Furthermore, the secret mantra of Vajradhara himself is: Vajra Akshobhya Hum. (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ཨཀྵོ་བྷྱ་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra akṣobhya hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Akshobhya Hum.) The Bodhisattva sits in the vajra posture, with the left hand placed on a lotus, and the right hand in the gesture of pressing the earth, this is said to be the mudra of Vajra Akshobhya. Through this mantra and mudra, even the Buddha with great fame will tremble and be frightened, let alone subduing the hordes of demons. Furthermore, the secret heart mantra of Ratnasambhava is: Ratna Sambhava Tra. Moreover, the secret mantra of the Dharma Lord is as follows: Padma Amitabha Hrih (藏文：པདྨ་ཨ་མི་ཏཱ་བྷ་ཧྲཱྀཿ，梵文天城体： पद्मा अमिताभ ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：padma amitābha hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Lotus, Amitabha, Hrih). From the aforementioned mudra, both hands are placed in the meditation posture, which is the mudra of the Lotus Lord. With this mantra and mudra, all the Buddhas of great renown will undoubtedly be brought under one's control. What need is there to mention the beings of the three realms? Furthermore, the secret mantra of the Karma Lord is as follows: Vajra Amogha Siddhi Ah (藏文：བཛྲ་ཨ་མོ་གྷ་སིདྡྷི་ཨ，梵文天城体：वज्र अमोघ सिद्धि अ，梵文罗马拟音：vajra amogha siddhi a，汉语字面意思：Vajra, Infallible, Accomplishment, Ah). From the aforementioned mudra, the gesture of fearlessness is made, which is the mudra of the Karma Lord. With this mantra and mudra, all actions will be accomplished. Next, what is to be explained is the mantra of the Dhatu Ishvari: Om Buddha Lochana Om (藏文：ཨཱོཾ་བུཌྜྷ་ལོ་ཙ་ནཱ་ཨོཾ，梵文天城体： ॐ बुद्ध लोचना ॐ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ buddha locanā oṃ，汉语字面意思：Om, Buddha, Eye, Om). Joining both hands in prayer and placing them on the crown of the head is the mudra of the Dhatu Ishvari. With this mantra and mudra, even the arrogant and violent are pacified. Om Gagana Lochana Hum (藏文：ཨོཾ་ག་ག་ན་ལོ་ཙ་ནཱ་ཧཱུཾ，梵文天城体： ॐ गगन लोचना हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ gagana locanā hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Om, Space, Eye, Hum). From the two hands bound in the vajra fist, the two middle fingers are raised to the third joint, and the two index fingers are made into the shape of a vajra, which is the mudra of Mamaki. With this mantra and mudra, all protective actions are performed, and what is protected by this cannot be harmed by all the Buddhas. Om Kata Vikate Katang Kate Svaha (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཀ་ཏ་བི་ཀ་ཏེ་ཀ་ཏང་ཀ་ཏེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ，梵文天城体： ॐ कट विकटे कटङ् कटे स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ kaṭa vikaṭe kaṭaṅ kaṭe svāhā，汉语字面意思：Om, Kata, Vikate, Katang, Kate, Svaha). Joining both hands with hollow palms, making the shape of an opening lotus, is the mudra of Padma Dhatu Ishvari. With this mantra and mudra, one will obtain a great treasure of Dharma. Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha (藏文：ཨཱོཾ་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུད་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུ་རེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ，梵文天城体： ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā，汉语字面意思：Om, Tare, Tuttare, Ture, Svaha).
