Without. The Victorious, the Immeasurable. In that great and sacred monastery. Like a mirror, the mandala of the mind. Thus, the teachings, I too. In the beginningless and endless. Where does the time of urging arise? I too, like that, manifest miracles. Thus it was spoken. The Great Sutra, the Collection of the Intentions of All Buddhas, the chapter on speaking to dispel whose suffering, the fourth chapter is complete. Then, at that time, in that very place. The King Who Subdues Harm spoke thus. In the world realm of human habitation. From the four continents, of Jambudvipa. A mountain called Fierce. It is a place where yakshas gather. In the place of accomplishment of the Dharma-holding lineage. He went forth, manifesting an emanation on the ground of compassion. All the lands shook and changed completely. With wondrous miracles. All were purified and appeared in bliss. Those fortunate ones who appeared earlier. The noble lineage holding inferior bodies. Among humans, the royal lineage is the greatest. A prince like the victorious Indra appeared as an omen. At that time, those of noble lineage. With joy, doubts arose. They asked questions with great boldness. Emaho, how wondrous and amazing. Great being, who are you? From where have you come, and how did you come? Relying on whom do you go, and where do you go? For what purpose have you come, they asked. With great miracles, he spoke thus. I am the one who, in any case, does not move. I am the Immovable Vajrasattva. Because of compassion, I move and go forth. The sole friend of the three realms. Great emptiness is my realm. The great Vajra lineage is my lineage. Father is the supreme method, immeasurable. Mother is wisdom, beyond words. In the time without beginning. My wish-fulfilling jewel was lost. That jewel, precious nectar. Not knowing it was there, I felt its loss. At that time, everything was impoverished. And afflicted by inescapable diseases. Wandering in darkness, gloom, and murk. The path to be traveled was also lost. Though suffering, I did not realize it there. At that time, my supreme spiritual friend. The loving protector, a holy being, showed me. Emaho, do you not know? The one who always brings happiness when seen. The one who brings great benefit. Has the precious jewel not been lost? Or do you not know it is there? What is lacking here? Thus, the supreme spiritual friend exhorted. At that time, I exhorted again.

That great event occurs, Not knowing it when it exists, only feeling the loss after it's gone. The method to encounter this, Virtuous friend, please guide me. If you want to quickly encounter What that holy one has indicated, You must strive to find the method. The sacred geomancer pointed out, Having traversed the realms of darkness and appearance, and the earth realm, And various paths, Even searching, it cannot be found elsewhere, It arises from one's own earth realm. That is the home of the holy ones Who previously found the precious jewel, That is the place of finding for those Who have previously found things. Having heard those words, at that time I, For the sake of searching, Inquired about the path from that holy one, Having determined with sacred wisdom, Rode that great vehicle, the steed, Came from the realms of darkness and appearance. Crossed four perilous rivers, Traversed various paths, searching everywhere, Entered the path of the holy ones. Traversing the path of earth and liberation, Approached the city of Nirvana. If you investigate the precious jewel, Unborn, unfound, from your own Home of the Dharma-nature space it is found. In finding, there is no finding, In losing, there is no loss. Neither existent nor nonexistent, neither loss nor gain, Not coming from elsewhere, but self-arising, Knowing is finding.
