It is said that it manifests as it is named, which is the essence of Bodhi itself, and that itself, and that very itself, and that suchness, and as it is, and without error, and without fabrication, and not other, and the nature of reality, and the realm of reality, and the inconceivable, and the ultimate truth, and secret mantra (藏文:གསང་སྔགས།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:), and dharani mantra (藏文:གཟུངས་སྔགས།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:), and knowledge mantra (藏文:རིག་སྔགས།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:), and the Great Vehicle, as it is widely known. It was said: Noble beings, how does the essence of Bodhi appear? It was answered: The essence of Bodhi is impossible to appear even for a moment. It was said: Does it not appear anywhere? It was answered: It appears as it is seen. It was said: How does it fully appear? It was answered: It is like this: because it pervades everywhere, it is the very absence of appearance. It is not hidden anywhere, it is the very absence of seeing. It has never been separated, it is the very absence of knowing its face. If analyzed, it is not seen, but it is the very appearance of everything. Although various appearances appear, it is the very absence of substance. Even if wandering in kalpas, it is the very absence of loss and separation. Although there are various doors, it is the very absence of change. Without particles, it is the very pervasion of existence. From emptiness itself, various things arise. Without a basis, it is the very attachment to whatever is named. Without a place to practice, whatever is practiced is accomplished. Without form or characteristics, whatever is seen appears. Without anything, it is the very knowing of everything. Pervasive and vast, one and infinite. Separated from all, uniquely one, without abandoning anything. Without outer and inner, all is inner. Although infinite, it is without end. Without grasping or analyzing, it abides anywhere. Without obstruction, it always falls. Without lifting, it goes in the sky. Without limbs, it traverses all the lands. Without moving anywhere, it goes everywhere. Without moving, it is unobstructed and swift. Although there are various elaborations, it does not move from one. Without moving from one, various things appear. Because it enters everything, it is the path. Because it does not abandon anything, it is samsara. Because of not knowing and confusion, it is sentient beings. Crossing the four rivers, it is the boat. Because of moving completely, it is the going. Because of having no object, it is Bodhi. Because of various forms, it is mind. Because of being skilled in everything, it is wisdom. Because of illuminating everything, it is samadhi. It cannot be exhausted.

Because it has reached the other shore, it is the place. Because it is unparalleled, it is supreme. Because it is wondrous, it is the highest. Because it is exceedingly transcendent, it is excellent. Because there is no power or kin, it is unsurpassed. Because the depths cannot be fathomed, it is profound. Because it is immeasurable, it is secret. Because it is subtle, it is imperceptible. Because it is the source of all, it is the Dharma. Because it is unchanging, it is Suchness. Because it is the state of attainment, it is the Bodhisattva. Because it is constant awakening and pervasive, it is the Buddha. Because it is the foundation, it is the root. Because it generates all, it is the Mother. Because it arises from that, it is the Father. Because it holds the lineage, it is the Son. Because it is self-arisen, it is the Lord of Freedom. Thus, it is the great lineage. Because it is difficult to transgress, it is the great commitment. Because it is fully alive, it is life. Because it cannot be exhausted, it is the great treasure. Because it accomplishes desires, it is wealth. Because of constant compassion, doing all things, it is the servant. Because it is exceedingly majestic, it is the body. Because speech arises, it is speech. Because it knows all, it is the mind. Because it produces all desires, it is merit. Because it acts, it is activity. Because it goes to the object, it is desire. Because it enjoys in that, it is great enjoyment. Because it becomes the cause, it is the great equipment. Because the intention is complete, it is the great assembly. Because there is no effort, all purposes are accomplished. Because of various transformations, it is miracles. Because it appears as a sign, it is the mudra. Because it is not sought from elsewhere, it is approach. Because it arises from oneself, it is the close approach. Because it is the essence, it is accomplishment. Because it is the fruit, it is great accomplishment. The Blessed One said: How do noble beings cultivate the essence of the mind of enlightenment? They replied: It cannot be cultivated. The Blessed One said: Why cannot it be cultivated? They replied: Because it is already accomplished. The Blessed One said: How is it already accomplished? They replied: Because it does not arise from others, it arises from oneself, there is no effort, and it is self-arisen, therefore it is certain that it is already realized. Thus, thus, a sound arose from emptiness, therefore it is certain that it is Suchness, in all of all, there is nothing other than the essence of the mind of enlightenment. Lord of Lanka, thus noble beings are certain that it is the essence of the mind of enlightenment, unmoving.
