Even though purification has been completed, wisdom has not yet been fully understood. Therefore, from the very beginning, strive to fully understand the suchness of the noble ones. Just as that is fully understood, so will the intention of the noble ones be experienced. After this was spoken, the noble beings entreated, "Emaho, Bhagavan! The Bhagavan has spoken to us of what is exceedingly wondrous and marvelous, immeasurable, giving rise to doubt, seeking hesitation. How then shall we fully comprehend the suchness of the noble ones?" "Please explain, Sugata, please explain." After they entreated thus, the Bhagavan, the suchness of the essence of secret mantra of all Buddhas, spoke, "O noble beings, this suchness of the noble ones is vast in means and wide in its gate. It involves little effort but great meaning. It is near yet difficult to examine. It is dangerous and difficult to protect. Therefore, it is exceedingly difficult for me to show it to you without error." After this was spoken, those noble beings wept uncontrollably. Having wept exceedingly, the door of secrecy was opened, and they came to fully know the eight realities of secret mantra. This concludes the eleventh chapter, which explains the lineage of pure descent, from the Great Sutra that gathers the intentions of all Buddhas. Then, the Bhagavan of all the Tathagatas, the suchness of the noble ones, Vajrasattva, spoke thus to those noble beings, "O noble beings, do not weep! Do not generate the torment of suffering! Why do you weep?" Then, to the Bhagavan, the suchness of all the Tathagatas, Vajrasattva, those noble beings entreated thus, "Bhagavan, how can we not weep? Has our seeking been in vain? Bhagavan, what shall we do with our intelligence? Please be our noble spiritual friend. We have practiced immeasurable and countless hardships, but if we wish to fully understand, we still have not had the opportunity to even hear the name of the suchness of the essence of secret mantra. How then shall it be?" After they entreated thus, thus

The Bhagavan Vajrasattva of all the departed, He spoke thus: "Noble beings, do not say such things! Secret mantra is not common to all, for that very reality is the unique and inexpressible noble thought of the Buddha, impossible to indicate with 'this,' free from all thought and scrutiny, difficult to examine and difficult to show, free from all expressions of speech, without comparison, not even the sky can be compared to it, immeasurable and free from measure. Neither a measure, nor a reason, nor can it be conceived. Just as you have not known or heard, so too, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas whose streams of being are completely pure have not yet attained the very nature of the secret mantra. They have not realized it. They have not fully awakened to enlightenment. Why is that? Because the very nature of the secret mantra is completely pure, therefore Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are not perceived and cannot be found, and the noble beings who abide on the ten grounds have not known that the essence of the Tathagata, the very nature of the secret mantra, is within themselves, but they regard it as the nature of reality and are not free from scrutiny. The Buddhas abide unmoving in the essence of the heart of enlightenment, without conceptualization, and do not manifest enlightenment, so why do you weep?" Having spoken thus, those noble beings rejoiced and were delighted, and sighed and thought to themselves: "Just as the Buddhas, the Bhagavat who have passed before, have not yet realized the very nature of the secret mantra, what need is there to mention us? The sole teacher, Vajrasattva, is the noble spiritual friend of all the Buddhas, therefore we will surely attain this wisdom." Then, those noble beings requested the Bhagavan in this way: "Bhagavan, that supreme secret mantra reality is beyond all expression, impossible to declare, and extremely difficult to show and examine. However, Bhagavan, you are the realm known to the great wise ones, cutting off all doubts, the supreme among the supreme."
