It will definitely become like that. All the dark places become clear. On the tip of the yogi's wrathful finger, the mandala of the moon blazes brightly. It is extremely stable and suppresses the fire of the kalpa that burns with water. In the mandala of the yogi's hand, the three thousand worlds and their surroundings. After being thrown into the expanse of the sky, it is transferred from earth to earth. On the yogi's wrathful finger, the mandala of the sun is clear, and billions of suns radiate from the rays, eliminating all darkness inside and out. In the mandala of the yogi's hand, the water and moon mandala is extremely bright, and a stream of nectar flows, extinguishing the great fire of the burning hell. Furthermore, the Lord of Lanka said that the sutra of samadhi is contained in this very place. Therefore, it should be understood in this way. The mind is the nature of illusion; it appears as it is contemplated. Even if it does not immediately become that way, it appears as it is contemplated. Even if it does not appear in an obstructed realm, mental images, supernormal powers, and omniscience will appear. How you contemplate, so you look, and it will become clear and obvious. The nature of existence and non-existence, good and bad, disappears like a water bubble. Everything will be done by this. Therefore, the mind of samadhi is essential. For example, a person who goes to the ocean to collect treasures endures all the suffering of poisonous creatures such as snakes, crocodiles, and bees with difficulty and achieves success. Similarly, a yogi seeking yoga, for enemies such as discursive thoughts, dullness, excitement, and distraction, these difficult-to-defeat activities, if practiced diligently, can attain happiness. This is the supreme samadhi, the teaching of practice; it is more important to make the mind intimate than to merely make it accustomed. Friends, know that these are the results of practice. After saying this, the inferior ones all obtained the supreme warmth of the superior ones. In the great sutra that gathers the intentions of all Buddhas, it is called the chapter on the mastery of yoga, the seventy-third. Then, the Lord of Secrets said to the bodhisattvas of the inferior body: Friends, what is the way to reduce effort in this? It is like this: not being attached to anything. What is not being attached to anything? It is like this: that

It is suchness. Why is that? For example, any disease that is completely seized by mantra cannot harm. Those seized by suchness, the three poisons and five poisons will not harm. If not seized by suchness, even if all aspects of the path are practiced, one will only definitely attain a good rebirth. How can one attain the supreme state? In suchness, all abide. Whoever knows this will be liberated from afflictions. If one does not know to be seized by it, the supreme paths will not be liberated. The yogi, with wisdom, seizes afflictions, and whatever is practiced will be self-liberated, attaining nirvana. Without effort, one can obtain great benefit. Whoever does not possess this wisdom, whatever is done in the manner of having wisdom, will not attain supreme liberation, but will be bound or become a thing of samsara. The wise who understand that all is empty are those who attain nirvana. For those who engage in various actions, they are free from toil and hardship. Supreme wisdom has no means, and compared to supreme individuals and the power of taming, relying on an inferior body will also lead to downfall. If supreme wisdom has means, even inferior things of samsara can become supreme individuals and be liberated. Liberation is self-arising, not from others. Liberation and non-liberation, etc., all dualistic thoughts are extremes. The all-knowing ones do not abide in the middle either. That is liberation without liberation. This is the supreme secret, and it should be kept secret from those who have not realized it and have shallow wisdom. Having faults is not a mistake, it is for the benefit of those with shallow wisdom. Therefore, for those who possess wisdom and means, it is not said that diligent practice and resources are the main things. Even if done, there will be no obstruction, and even if not done, it is definitely so. Thus, if one possesses wisdom and means, then even sentient beings who commit the five heinous crimes can be killed with the weapon of bodhicitta and compassion, turning into immeasurable merit. If not killed, then what everyone seeks is the very nature of his mind. Whoever disturbs the three realms for immeasurable kalpas does not recognize it. Here, with wisdom and means, without action, one can naturally awaken with self-awareness. The great yogi is comfortable like sleeping, and it is spontaneously accomplished without seeking. Just as darkness, poison, and substances turn into medicine, light, and gold, without the secret of alchemy, even if one experiences various hardships, one will not succeed.
