When it manifests, one will see immeasurable victors. Why is that? Because the essence or core of all of these is suchness, and there is nothing other than that. Friends, therefore, like this: If one sees the meaning of suchness, Seeing, everything is illusion. If that itself is the supreme and noble state, All the unsurpassed, high, and noble are false. Until one is certain of suchness, There is no inferiority, pride, or discouragement. Once one is determined in suchness, Even abiding in the world is the Dharmakaya. Even if determined as sacred, one still engages in the world. There is no weariness even at the edge of samsara. Though infinitely vast, it is perfected as one. One is not afraid in the realm of demons. One is not disgusted in the realm of the unpleasant. One unites desirable objects with the expanse. If one sees the meaning of certainty all at once, Gradual practice seems like deception. Even with mere faith in that, One will subdue the three realms. What need is there to say about becoming emptiness? For example, lion cubs and garuda eggs, Even if taken out before their eyes open, Everyone is afraid, like of an egg or a sky-goer. Whoever has become certain of that, Even if they abide and engage in the world, In that sacred state itself, They are not disgusted by anything they are certain of. Practicing gradually with characteristics, And with existence, focus, non-focus, Practicing and proceeding, Those who impute without distinction, Those fools will be empty, How could they be certain of the sacred? Like the cub of a final predator, It is the nature of fear and anxiety. Of all the infinite dharmas, Just as their nature abides, Unfabricated, not inverted, That is being certain of suchness. Just as a great garuda soars in the sky, Using the power of its wings to traverse the heavens, Even if mountains, rocks, and endless rivers, Are all contained beneath its soaring waves, So too, the yogin, the dharmata dakini, Even if the conduct of the vehicle is endless, If by the meaning of what is as it is, unfabricated, One decides with the wave of the state, This is the certainty that cuts off Hope and doubt. Looking at the sacred nature itself, Cutting off the state must be cherished. Friends, know that these are planned to completely cut off the ground. Having said this, the inferior ones attained the state of deciding without hope or doubt. This is the intention of all the Buddhas.

The seventy-second chapter, entitled "Severing Doubts," from the Great Sutra. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets spoke to the inferior ones: "O friends, that which is to be cultivated is as follows: The perfect thought is all-encompassing, the main entry is meditation, just like a wheel-turning king, meditation is the mastery of all dharmas. This great yoga meditation, like poison and darkness turning into gold, meditation is the mastery of all, therefore, practice the perfect meditation. If there is no such meditation, like a stone on the neck in the ocean, even if countless doors are closed, it is meaningless, it is a withered essence. The great yoga meditation, in the suchness of reality, placing the mind without contrivance, without distraction, without arising or ceasing. The suchness of perfect yoga, is the very nature of mind, suchness is indiscernible, it is the root of all-knowing, the basis of all. Why? Because it is unmade and uncultivated, it is said to be self-arisen suchness. All that appears everywhere, is the momentary consciousness of entry, why? Because of the universal appearance of entry, it is said to be the universal appearance of inner and outer. The arrangement of the cause, is the five doors of the entering consciousness, by what cause is everything arranged, it is said to be the cause of all arising. Whose perfect thought is neither empty nor truly existent, indiscernible in the Middle Way, all-knowing and clear, beyond existence and non-existence. Here, those who feel and act evilly, and those who prohibit the realm of children's actions, this is the deluded and straying, the single object. Here, those who are confused by views, rely on self to establish extremes, believing in non-existence, thinking there is nothing, they immediately fall into evil realms. All small faiths, in whom they see selflessness as a support, those who prohibit having thoughts without examination, is only the first dhyana. From the subtle emptiness of all emptiness, in the absence of abiding thoughts, the second is examination, in emptiness, the third is joy and movement. Shown by the power of self or others, the faultless, unwavering fourth dhyana, whatever exists will eventually change, whatever does not exist, has no place, and will never change. Whatever does not exist, is unseen and unknown, though sought, it cannot be found, yet that nature is not non-existent.
