What is the nature of the conduct of those yogis? It is like this: The three aspects of body, speech, and mind, When the three extremes are completely pure and perfect, Because it is the conduct of the holy ones, Therefore, it is said to know the lineage of the non-inferior holy ones. The conduct of the vajra body is: Without going anywhere, the body is not altered, Abiding alone in solitude, Just like the posture of an elephant, In that way, abide authentically. Wherever you abide, abide constantly, Do not be attached to that place of abiding. The four postures are naturally complete, Abide authentically without alteration. By what does not endanger suffering, Merely protecting from harm, Do not alter for the sake of beauty and adornment, Combine wherever and however there is happiness. The realm of practice of the vajra mantra is: The yogi without activity, Does not engage in the activities of stupas, Does not read scriptures, Does not engage in the activity of creating images, Does not bind hand gestures, The recitation of speech is an obscuration to that. Does not perform prostrations with the yogic body, Does not look at gain, honor, and scorn, Not for the sake of profit, not for the sake of fame, Why? Because it is external distraction and, Because it is extreme distraction, Therefore, not being close to those, This body should abide authentically. The meditator who is certain of yoga, The food of the vajra mantra is, Merely as a support for maintaining the body's nourishment, Apart from being naturally complete and abundant, Do not deliberately strive for food. When is it for the sake of poverty and weakness? Eat authentically without alteration, Do not alter for the sake of livelihood, There is no acceptance or rejection of attachment and non-attachment, It is not something to be accepted, Nor should one live by begging, Why? Because that is unchanging, Livelihood is completely impure. Cutting off interruptions from the uninterrupted, This is the activity of a yogi, For the inner nature of what is to be known, When yoga enters for the sake of meaning, Because of the external noise and distraction, In order to eliminate the interruption, On the boundary between outer and inner, Cut off the travelers who come and go. For those who have no dwelling place to rely on, Abiding comfortably, there is no fault in altering the body, Altering conduct with attachment, That is defiling the body with alteration, Do not alter the solitary body of meditation, For that solitude, do not alter it, That itself is the place of original solitude, This is the realm of the supreme yogi, Do not alter the immeasurable mountain cave, That itself is immeasurable and unaltered.

E! This is the measure of primordial wonder, spontaneously arisen without effort. The realm of Vajra speech is also, for the sake of the holy ones, to speak sweetly, and not to engage in flattery elsewhere. All that is spoken is truth, speaking frankly and not changing words, acting as one speaks. Not speaking everywhere at all times, but connecting what is said with meaning. Except for the occasion and necessity, it should not be done wantonly. Showing examples to everyone, measuring everything with measure. The unadulterated yogi is said to be the conduct of Vajra speech. The realm of Vajra mind is, unmade, unmoved, free from thought, not distracted, not dull, clear and abiding. Not attached to desire, free from addition and subtraction, without taking or leaving, without attachment or aversion, without concealment or fabrication, not for gain or wealth. Free from sides, limitless, completely pure, understanding the path of division.

(Earth) Bird year, which is the fifty-seventh (animal) year. Then, the lords of Lanka and other Bodhisattva Mahasattvas asked the Lord of Secrets a question. O Lord of Secrets, how can we fully understand that you have vowed to cultivate trees? What kind of tree is that? The Lord of Secrets said: O friends, Trees are Bodhi trees, because they ripen into the supreme fruit and become the nourishment of all, so that tree should be cultivated. Friends, it is like this, in the Vajra Essence it says: Wherever its thorns are all purified, in the completeness without remainder, whoever's intention is definitely explained, the Dharma spoken at the time of union, that should be explained separately. Among them, there are ten kinds of intentions to explain the time of union, the arising of desire and the combination of diligence, entering into learning and the transformation of consciousness, after the union, entering into the realm of taste, great realization, firm transformation, capable, and having a continuous mind, there are ten kinds. Because those essences have continuity, with the ten stages of great yoga, on the difference of the five yogas, sixteen are definitely completed by continuity. Likewise, on all wisdom, with the difference of ten aspects, from the beginning to the completion, whatever is combined, that can extinguish the obstacles. Wherever an ordinary person sees, the awakened Bodhicitta arises. What is that which is extinguished? Shaking and desiring and arising, combining and entering do not change, awareness and abiding and completion also. Whatever image appears, the unreal self-appearance is a matching metaphor, tiny, ordinary, vast, stars, the second day of the moon, three and four and five, eight and sixteen appear like that. At the time of arising desire, the mind of increasing shaking arises, like a dark cloud, sparks and stars appear dimly. At the time of diligent union, the mind of increasing desire arises, extremely ordinary stars, to that dimness is like that. At the time of entering into learning, the Bodhicitta arises, like a flame, a great star, a great star appears dimly like that. At the time of consciousness transformation, the mind of increasing union
