La! After such an extensive explanation of the introduction, please speak the words of the scripture! Thus it was requested. Then again, he bestowed his word: Alas! Listen, you who have become young! Listen as I explain in a pleasing manner. In general, the methods of explaining the tantras, in the scriptures, are explained in three ways: briefly, extensively, and very extensively. The brief explanation is given in its own words, the extensive explanation is in accordance with the scripture, and the very extensive explanation has three meanings. There are three intentions in the order of what is to be explained. What is to be explained is like this: in order to uphold one's own tenets, and in order to refute the tenets of others, that is called what is to be explained. The actual explanation is like this: that is also explained by the meaning of the words, explained in ten and twenty ways. Like a tigress leaping, with wisdom, cutting through the great earth of meaning and explaining. Like a great garuda soaring in the sky, with wisdom, expanding the interior of meaning and explaining. Like a lion roaring, with wisdom, overpowering the lesser vehicles with majesty and explaining. Like a tortoise moving slowly, with wisdom, chewing the syllables of the letters and explaining. Like a crow spying, with wisdom, distinguishing between error and correctness and explaining. Like a giant throwing, with wisdom, condensing the extensive explanation into meaning and explaining. Like an elephant sleeping, with wisdom, establishing the view on the object and explaining. Like a garuda seeking food, with wisdom, searching for the object of meaning and explaining. Like an eagle seizing prey, with wisdom, explaining without doubt about the meaning. Like a child climbing on shoulders, with wisdom, explaining what is appropriate and inappropriate. Like pearls strung together, with wisdom, gathering the pith instructions into meaning and explaining. Like a seasonal dragon raining, with wisdom, refuting the arguments of others and explaining. Like a nocturnal bee, with wisdom, gathering from all doors and explaining. Like a wish-fulfilling tree, with wisdom, explaining very extensively. Like the sun in a clear sky, with wisdom, illuminating everything universally and explaining. Like a clear moon, with wisdom, explaining samsara and nirvana. Like a lion sitting, with wisdom, explaining in accordance with the meaning of meditation. Like swans walking harmoniously, with wisdom, expanding the interior of meaning and gathering and explaining. Like a rainbow in the sky, with wisdom, explaining with the adornment of the dharmadhatu. Like a razor sharpening, with wisdom, distinguishing in view and explaining. Like a mirror

With a mind like a mandala, explain with both cause and condition. With a mind like lightning in the sky, explain each word and meaning quickly. With a mind like the emptiness of the sky, explain extensively without end. With a mind like a stake and root, explain by pointing out the objects of knowledge. With a mind like a coiled tree trunk, explain by summarizing all phenomena in meaning. With a mind like branching branches, explain by examining the pith instructions with meaning. With a mind like spreading leaves, explain the twenty-one meanings. With a mind like a clear flower, explain like two kinds of lamps. With a mind like a ripe fruit, explain that the fruit does not revert to the cause. These and other methods of explanation should be understood in order. The methods and entrances of explanation should be understood as they are. Then, Manjushri again said this: Alas, alas, Teacher, Body of Wisdom, what is the actual explanation like? Please speak of the order of explanation. Thus he requested. Then, again, he said: Alas, young one, consider this, powerful one! Listen well to what I have taught with meaning. See the actions of mind and so on. The order of explanation is like this: The explanation of true meaning is for the sake of showing secret words and hidden words, and concealed words. The nature of the order of explanation is from the definition of having similar causes, all the actions of hiding and concealing are explained, therefore it is called explanation. Clearly show the sutra itself of the order, that is also to indicate the word itself with meaning. Unattached explanation is the reality of all explanations, for all inner and outer wisdom, the words of explanation are found through action, and wisdom is applied to meaning through occurrence. The non-real order is shown as explanation. The characteristic of the order of explanation is that there is no view of clinging to anything, because there is no object and it appears, the sound of explanation is empty due to fame, the words of explanation are applied to meaning, the meaning of explanation is gathered into the Dharmadhatu, the view of explanation has no end, the meditation of explanation does not abide, the signs of explanation have no time limit, the object of explanation has no object. Thus, the order of explanation should be understood in this way for all. Ema, in order to represent the meaning itself, the order of explanation is spoken. The text of explanation is like this: View, meditation, conduct, and result, place and time.
