Like eating, one will inevitably experience the suffering fruit of the infallible cause and effect. The perverse dharma of seeing non-existence as existence is like a blind person groping for a stove. Not wanting cause and effect is a great loss; there is no escape from the ripening of karma. The perverse dharma of grasping existence as non-existence is like being deceived by a magic show. Impermanence and suffering are truly great. Those who speculate on existence and non-existence are like groping in the dark, and will eventually fall into the abyss of suffering. If one does not realize the meaning of selflessness, clinging to self will lead to destruction, like being trapped in a small boat in the middle of the ocean. For a patient who is near death, the need for a doctor is like a waste. For the ripening of perverse views, other methods are of no help. One should refute those who hold perverse views and guide them onto the right path, which is the correct and unerring path of truth. This awareness of the mind of enlightenment is not permanent, free from characteristics, not annihilation, but knowing and clear. This groundless nature, free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, appears like an illusion in conventional truth. The interdependent arising of various causes and effects is true. In ultimate truth, it exists like a magician, free from grasping and being grasped, the true nature is true. This indivisible stability is impartial and universally clear. Whoever knows this unerring path, this samsara is nirvana, like the darkness that rises at dawn, confusion no longer exists, and suffering is liberated. This great bliss, the clear light of awareness, is the ultimate meaning that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas wish to realize. Abide in it as it is, and if you are not distracted, it will manifest. Because of clinging to one's own views, the schools with little wisdom, namely the two divisions of the Hearers, grasp external objects as real. Two parts of atoms combine to form a collection of atoms, from which all containers and contents arise. Those who wish to abandon samsara and seek liberation, is this samsara oneself or not oneself? If samsara is oneself, like a body that cannot abandon its shadow, abandoning samsara will not lead to liberation. If samsara is not oneself, then there is no need to abandon it. Light and darkness cannot coexist. If samsara is conventional mind, are conventional and ultimate truth one or different? If they are one, then ultimate truth is tainted by confusion. Where does samsara exist? Like darkness cannot dispel darkness, if the two are
