Without relying on the naturally pure arising, the path of fivefold purity arises. Phenomena and existence self-liberate, running on the plain. Abiding in the intention free from discrimination. In the vast temple of the source of all, the ancestor of sentient beings is the king of awareness. Although phenomena and existence arise, there is no increase or decrease. All the miracles from this sky do not move from the nature of the sky. From the realm of the essence, various powers arise, but the various ones dissolve into the mother. Mother-child recognition is originally enlightenment. Mistake and non-mistake are originally non-existent. Realization and non-realization are the realm of the mind. Since view, meditation, conduct, and result are all mind, until the mind is exhausted, no matter how one practices, it is the key point of effort. But there is no enlightenment in the mind of effort. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Blazing Sun and Moon, it is the eighth chapter, which is taught to the excellent ones. Then Vajrasattva asked Samantabhadra: Please bestow the teaching of non-action and effortlessness, which is not a practice of effort. After asking this, the teacher taught the assembly: I will teach the Dharma of non-action and effortlessness. Vajrasattva, hold it in your mind. Without practice, without effort, without aspiration, the meaning of effortless and spontaneous perfection is the same as before. Like the sky free from action, where can one find effortful practice? This clear and pure wisdom, this intention, is self-born, naturally pure, and luminous. Let go, rest, that nature, do not create thoughts of acceptance and rejection. Manifest and unmanifest arise from behind. This subtle and difficult-to-know Dharma is non-conceptual and beyond thought. Since one body pervades all, there is no Dharma to add. Since mind and Dharma are not anything, it cannot be shown to others like this. From the ground of all, the vast Dharmadhatu, whatever arises—awareness, mind, thought, intellect—suddenly arises, naturally pure, and dissolves into the place of arising, like throwing a stone into the ocean. It dissolves into the realm of no birth, and is obtained by the unchanging expanse. Since the nature of mind is not anything, one does not meditate on anything during meditation. Without thinking, without meditating, in other Dharmas, the meditation with great qualities is not to be thought of as not taught. Hold the non-dual wisdom of true reality. The completely pure Dharma of selflessness, the light of the wisdom of true reality and selflessness, the nature of Dharma, consciousness, transcends objects. The symbol is the symbol of the Dharmata of the Dakinis. In the mandala of accumulated jewels.

Self-arisen, naturally pure, clear light dwells. Attachment, hatred, elaboration are cut, phenomena and existence are liberated. There is no place for the non-abiding, In the expanse of the essence of non-conceptuality. The body of wisdom is the self-purified body, One who has passed away in a body free from attachment. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Blazing Sun and Moon, Chapter Nine, Teaching on the Absence of Action and Freedom from Elaborations. Then Vajrasattva, Asked Kuntuzangpo thus: How are the secret mantras explained through symbols? Having made this request, the Teacher addressed the assembly: A ka da ti sa tis ha ri ti bho ya ha ri ta, thu la ya a a. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanized, Chinese literal meaning) The essence of secret mantras is explained through symbols. The original, unborn, eternal ground, In the vast expanse of the royal realm of Dharma, The supreme lord, clearly shining, dwells as the essence. Surrounded by ministers and retinue beyond comprehension, He also exercises sovereignty over the entire kingdom. Desired enjoyments are beyond comprehension, In the precious, all-arising temple, The self-arisen, naturally pure, primordial light dwells. Surrounded by a retinue of clear purity and cutting through elaborations, He also exercises sovereignty over all realms. The enjoyment of Dharma is inexhaustible. In the darkness of the absence of phenomena, An old woman, ignorant and without clarity, dwells. Surrounded by a retinue of darkness, The blind, without knowledge, also exercise sovereignty. Wandering in the cycle of the three existences and four waters, Enjoying the wheel of eighty-four thousand. In the garden of the all-arising, all-encompassing ground, There is a wish-fulfilling jewel, precious. All desired enjoyments arise from it. If that jewel is obtained, all wishes are fulfilled. For those who wish to obtain that jewel, With the self-arisen wisdom of natural purity, Riding on a garuda and holding a sword, Wearing solid armor on the body, Opening the eye of fearlessness, For the precious jewel among humans, Self-arisen awareness, mind, memory, thought, Suddenly entrust the naturally pure and precious. Obtain the wish-fulfilling jewel, Obtain freedom through the cutting of elaborations. Drink a drop of the essence of nectar, Drink the essence and entrust it to the heart, In the center of the unchanging realm of birth and death, Lie down in the realm of effortless great bliss, Sleep without movement, effort, or change. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Blazing Sun and Moon, Chapter Ten, The Chapter on the Symbols of Secret Mantras. Then Vajrasattva, Asked Kuntuzangpo thus: In the essence of the vehicles, the general essence, How are the nine vehicles and phenomena and existence perfected? Having asked thus, the Teacher addressed the assembly.
