The distinction between knowing and not knowing, the distinction between moving and not moving, the distinction between grasping and not grasping, the distinction between awareness and unawareness, the distinction between the gate of appearance and the gate of delusion. The distinction between realization and non-realization. The distinction between Buddha and sentient beings. The distinction between having alteration and not having alteration, the distinction between delusion and correction. In short, the distinction between the unobstructed clarity of the empty expanse is it. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Blazing Sky, Chapter Thirty, which teaches the distinction between Buddha and sentient beings. Then, the self-arisen natural purity, to the nameless teacher, the all-liberated one, asked: Are the dharmas established by mind existent or not? What is meant by unconditioned transcendence of mind? After asking this, the teacher addressed the assembly: These two questions of the assembly, are they asking about realization or non-realization? If asking about non-realization, as long as conceptual thought and mental delusion are not exhausted, the dharmas established by mind are inexhaustible and existent. As long as conceptual thought and delusion are not exhausted, it is said that the dharmas established by mind are existent. When conceptual thought and delusion are exhausted, not a single one of the dharmas established by mind exists. When mind is exhausted, the dharmas established by mind are exhausted. Thus it is said. Then the assembly asked the teacher: What is meant by unconditioned transcendence of mind? After asking this, the teacher addressed the assembly: When mind and object meet, and dharma and consciousness are mixed, awareness is lost, mind is absent, and the conceptual thought of mind is exhausted. There is no object of action, and it is separated from the mind of effort and accomplishment. In the meaning of transcendence of mind, there are no dharmas established by mind. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Blazing Sky, Chapter Thirty-one, which teaches the non-existence of dharmas established by mind. Then, the self-arisen natural purity, to the nameless all-liberated teacher, asked: Are the dharmas established by mind established by words or not? If established, then what difference is there between the dharma of transcendence of mind and it? If so, it is because both are expressed by words and established as names. Thus he asked the teacher. The teacher addressed the assembly: The dharmas established by mind and the nameless transcendence of mind, these two have great differences in words and meaning. By showing the difference in words and the difference in meaning, assembly members, listen. Assembly members, is the dharma of transcendence of mind established by words or not? Asking this question, it is you, the assembly, who ask, and I will explain, in order to dispel the conceptual thought of the assembly and understand, transcendence of mind

In that very essence, there is no signifier or signified. In the essence beyond mind, words cannot express it. In the meaning of the nameless beyond mind, there is no cessation of names and words. The nameless is free from extremes, liberated from the realm of mental activity. Liberated from ends and limits, it transcends the realm of words that describe depth and boundaries. This is to dispel the concept of cyclic existence. In the essence beyond mind, there are no imputed unreal names and words. Therefore, it is superior to the Dharma established by the mind. How is it superior? All Dharmas established by the mind, from Ati (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Supreme) downwards, are imputed by the mind to their respective tenets, clinging to the extremes established by the mind. In the great essence of the unreal, nameless, beyond mind, the nine vehicles, not understanding that meaning, cling to the words established by the mind in their views, meditate with minds, clinging to names and words, engage in deliberate actions, clinging to attachment and aversion, and strive for results with hope and doubt, longing and effort. The nine vehicles, naming according to their own views and clinging to the words established by the mind, cling to the extremes established by the mind, turning their backs on the views of others. They cling to the words of the unreal, mind-established concepts. With the clinging to appearance and grasping, the vehicles established by the mind seek far away, placing themselves nearby. Even if they search for hundreds of eons, they will not find it. It is like a blind person seeking the edge of the sky. If the Dharmas established by the mind are not exhausted, they will not be found even in hundreds of eons. From the mind-established imputation of metaphors for the non-existent and empty Dharmas, they cling to the edge of words and are attached to the named Dharmas. If the nameless, boundless, empty, and mind-exhausted are not realized, there will never be a time to escape from the swamp of samsara. Therefore, this is the difference between the mind-established and the beyond mind. What is taught by summarizing is that even clinging to the self of the nameless beyond mind is a Dharma of the mind. If the Dharmas established by the mind are exhausted and there is no clinging or attachment, then it is beyond mind. The Dharma beyond mind is liberated from depth and boundaries. The Dharma established by the mind is imputed by the mind and clings to the established extremes. Therefore, this is the difference between the Dharma of the mind and the beyond mind. So it is said. In the Tantra of the Blazing Sky, although the beyond mind is imputed in words, it has liberated the boundaries and has become the chapter of the realm of the nameless, boundless, empty, beyond mind, the thirty-second chapter. Then, the self-born, naturally pure one, to the nameless teacher, the all-liberated one, where are the Dharmas of apparent imputation gathered? When asked this, the teacher said to the assembly: The Dharmas of appearance are gathered into emptiness. Mind-established.
