Because it is deep and vast with wide doors, It is not a breeding ground for delusion and conceptualization. The very nature of mind, the great Bodhi, Cannot be labeled as "existent" or "non-existent." The Bodhi mind appears to exist, Because all things are unobstructed. The Bodhi mind appears to not exist, Because its nature is naturally peaceful. It abides liberated from the extremes of existence and non-existence. The five kinds of afflictions like attachment and aversion, Blazing and constantly moving, Are the play of self-born wisdom, Cannot be denied, they are my root. It is the manifestation from the nature of reality itself. The five inexpiable sins, Are the adornment of the realm of desire and enjoyment, Cannot be abandoned, they are my ornament. They arise as pure enjoyment. Ignorance and delusion see them as faults, Elsewhere they are obstructed and abandoned, Here, know that they are not abandoned. Compassion, the mastery of liberation, Know that it is practiced without abandonment. Union, the practice of skillful means, Is the path of non-abiding wisdom and great bliss. Without clinging to self or other, It is inseparable, stable as the life force of a dharani. For this life force of the Bodhi mind, The assembly of the four maras cannot destroy, The three poisonous enemies cannot kill. It does not fall into the six abysses, It does not degenerate from the realm of non-action. There is nothing more superior to look for than this meaning of the fruit of Buddhahood. The unbounded realm of non-action, the Dharma. Great compassion does not become empty. Because attachment and aversion are pure in their own place, There is no arising or feeling of conceptual mind. Whatever miracles arise from the expanse, Rising and subsiding again, is its own power. Like a precious wish-fulfilling jewel in the ocean, Qualities are not sought from elsewhere. Seized by the compassion of intrinsic nature, Not abandoning, though appearing as the five poisons, Because they are the object of compassion's embrace, Without impartiality, it pervades all. Self-born wisdom has no arising or ceasing, For this, there are examples and measures. Self-born, immeasurable, It is clear in the realm of great wisdom. The Bodhi mind is a jewel, The basis for the arising of all qualities. Everything gathers in the great bindu, It abides effortlessly, spontaneously. The Bodhi mind is primordial Buddha, Because it is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, Without abandonment, it is liberated in its own place. The Bodhi mind is without direction, Because its nature is without fixedness, It does not abide in one place, it pervades all. The Bodhi mind is not to be sought, Qualities are naturally present.

Because of completeness. It dawns everywhere without bias. Bodhicitta cannot be cultivated. Because all are gathered there. Uncultivated, spontaneously accomplished is the fruit. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the King of Vast Expanse. The chapter on immeasurable meaning, the third. Then again, the Bhagavan spoke without error the intention of his mind. In the essence of one bindu, there is no difference between being a Buddha and not being a Buddha. Even what is labeled as the fruit of Buddhahood, there is no other quality to be obtained. The power of the vast expanse of mind itself, even the appearance of sentient beings as causes, there are no faults of samsara separately. The play of the vast expanse of actionlessness, in the nature of reality without cause and effect, there is no difference between Buddhas and sentient beings. Therefore, one cannot alter it oneself. Even what is labeled as cause, condition, and effect, it is merely shown by way of guidance. In the nature of reality that is uncreated, it abides without error and is clear without effort. Non-cessation itself is the expanse of wisdom. In this state of suchness, there is no distraction and non-distraction, and because there is no movement and non-movement, there is no intention of the Victorious Ones other than this. In the nature of reality that is completely pure, to conceive of cause and effect as substance is to be bound by evil tenets, and because of delusion, one deviates from the meaning. It is extremely difficult to point out and express. The expanse of space, the vast expanse swirling, is the great place of all, therefore it is practiced in the realm and is completely free. Because of delusion, one deviates from the meaning, it cannot be destroyed by valid cognition, but is liberated by the power of the vast expanse itself. It cannot be cut off by cutting off the extremes of thought, but it is cut off by the power of the vast expanse itself. One's own mind possesses the confidence of valid cognition, it is the unchanging eternal of meaning. With the meaning of scripture and reason as guards, it destroys wrong views and ignorance into dust. Non-reverting is the scripture of meaning, it does not let go at the extremes, but holds on tightly. Wisdom, incomparable, is the measure of awareness, it does not cut off in the realm, but is the expanse of equality. Because it is uncommon to all, there is no need to seek and cultivate this. There is no need to do anything at all for this. There is no need for asceticism and hardship, there is no need to train and proceed in this. It is clear in its own uncreated ground. Because there is no realm of attachment for the powerful, there is no way to obtain the path, stages, and fruit. In this meaning of the uncreated primordial expanse, there is no basis for expressing it in words. To act in the realm
