That which generates suffering in the world, The demon who seeks opportunities to interrupt, If there is interruption, everything is a demon. If enlightened, not realizing the nature of Dharma is a demon. If attached, even attached to wisdom itself is a demon. If attached to meditation, it is also a demon, therefore, The demon who dwells on the true path, Appears as the Vajra Master demon. If seen, wrong views arise, arrogance and hatred arise, The form is unsightly and the mind is not attracted. All appearances, both external and internal, Are judged by the mind, the demon of grasping and fixation. The demon of distraction, sinking, and doubt. The demon of meaningless, unfulfilled instructions, and unrestrained behavior. Demons and wisdom are inseparable, If judged and grasped by the mind, it is a demon, If not judged and left in its own state, it is wisdom. It does not go beyond judging and not judging. From the Great Extensive Precious Treasure Tantra, The fifty-fourth chapter, which teaches the arising of demons. Gathering Secret Empowerment Vajrasattva rejoices, To the teacher of teachers, Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), This great vehicle of fruition, To whom does the lineage appear? When will it appear? How does it appear? The teacher of teachers, Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), To Gathering Secret Empowerment Vajrasattva, From beginningless lifetimes, Offering to the Guru and serving, Offering to the Yidam and protectors, Training the mind in the meaning of the sacred, With faith in the Great Vehicle, By the power of their aspirations, In the precious Jambudvipa (Southern Continent), Holding a pure human body lineage, Complete faculties, consciousness, and limbs, With the eye of wisdom, In that time of the five degenerations, The teachings of the Sugata's (Buddha's) mind will arise. Obtaining the permission of the Dakinis and field protectors. The teachings of the Bhagavan (Buddha), The teachings of body and speech, Appear for seven hundred and five years. The teachings of the mind are sixty-one years. From the eastern direction of Jambudvipa (Southern Continent), The emanation of Garab Dorje (Prahevajra), Taking a form similar to himself, Destroys those teachings. I am the invisible Dakini, Making it appear to those with pure karma. Then, the emanation of that one, The teachings of the mind shine like the sun, Appearing to those with pure karma. When the meaning of this vehicle is seen, In a single instant.

Perfect and complete enlightenment. Even if this vehicle appears to beings who are not vessels, it is the cause of the great Vajra Hell. This vehicle cannot appear to those who possess the obscurations of bondage. If one understands the meaning of this vehicle, Vajrasattva will arise from within. Thus, I have prophesied. This Great Vehicle will definitely appear to that being. Obtain the fruit in existence and the intermediate state. From the Great Extensive Jewel Sutra, the chapter on prophesying the Great Vehicle being, the fifty-fifth chapter. The gathering secret lord Vajrasattva, To the teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, The great Vajrasattva, What are the ten words of Nirvana? The teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, To the gathering secret lord Vajrasattva, Having gazed upon Vajrasattva, That impartial Bodhisattva, If one understands the meaning of that Bodhisattva, The unobstructed wisdom body, The wisdom space without arising or ceasing, In the pure land without beginning or end, The Buddha abides with unceasing power. The supreme lord of knowledge and wisdom, The wisdom body of the all-knowing, Where are obscurations and veils? From the Great Extensive Jewel Sutra, the chapter on teaching the ten Vajra words, the fifty-sixth chapter. The gathering secret lord Vajrasattva, To the teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, Through this view, meditation, and conduct, What are the heat, signs, miracles, and the arising of wisdom and clairvoyance? The teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, To the gathering secret lord Vajrasattva, If one possesses this vehicle of view and meditation, These are the arising of heat: Bodhicitta arises with great compassion, Without attachment and delighting in generosity, Without pride and with little affliction, Without purity or impurity and with little desire, From within, great wisdom and clarity are manifest. These are the arising of signs: Without sleep, clear without day or night, Without internal or external parasites, The body is light and the complexion is bright, Possessing a youthful body, the limbs arise with firmness. For the middling, wisdom arises in dreams, For the lowest, one knows that dreams are illusory. These are the arising of miracles: The lord who has obtained mastery over the elements, Able to enter into the earth
