From that Hayagriva, light radiates, Think of Yamāntaka and Acala, And the extremely wrathful deities. Like that, generate the deities, After the first mantra, With this mantra, kill the nagas. If signs of a royal nāga appear, On cloth or daphne bark, Draw the image of a royal nāga, In the heart of that lingam, Write "Nāga māraya". On the right side of that lingam, Write "Royal māraya". On the left, write "Nāga tub and myogs". Having made the lingam like that, Draw a lingam one by one on the neck. Having finished making the lingam like that, Make a blue triangular pit, Pile its end into a circle, The color of the circle is blue-black, Decorate it with flames. On top of the piled circle, Draw the image of a vajra club. On top of the piled triangle, Draw a khaṭvāṅga and a crossed vajra. Place the lingam inside it. Pour marmot oil, white mustard, black mustard, And poisons such as wolfsbane, And substances such as ashes from the charnel ground, Into the charnel ground bowl.

如是猛咒善加持，击打彼之林伽物。 尼泊尔柳或箭杆，以此抽打病人心。 遍及全身而击打，自身绕颅三匝旋。 地上亦击打三次，收摄于彼林伽物。 猛咒念诵善修持，自身具足大权者。 念诵猛咒柳条击，绕颅击地复收摄。 祈请薄伽梵莲花马王，金刚手等诸眷属， 供养具饰之朵玛，三时之中作供养。 结界未出彼之前，亦以吉祥朵玛作抵押。 乃至七日作修持，其后彼之林伽物， 寡妇足底践踏之， 婆罗门木之火焚烧， 以毒及颅之药剂击， 彼之猛咒善念诵。 自身稳固忿怒定， 以药及柳条善击打， 以药及柳条击打 之时， 病者身之诸疾病， 金刚手之威力与， 阎罗死主之威吓与， 马头明王之猛烈与， 不动尊之猛咒与， 缘起物之谛实力， 病者身之诸疾病， 出已收摄鬼之林伽。 其后燃火念猛咒， 其后火供已竟时， 以糌粑作像已， 与焚烧之灰烬等俱， 置于土制容器之中。 以药击打柳条击， 面朝东方之泉眼， 旁边三箭之量埋。 如是此大之修法， 若作二十有八次， 王族解脱于魔害。 何者人种诸族类， 若王族为龙所侵， 以猛烈事业疗治者， 当勤奋于此修法。 彼二大之修法者， 薄伽梵金刚手之， 自身具足三摩地者， 从颅形之孔洞中， 猛烈药剂之修法者， 羊猪脂与驴脂与， 牛脂狗脂等诸物， 广说作为火供物。 当作三种林伽物， 名牌如同颅形物。 以孔雀妙羽拂拭身， 收摄于彼林伽物。

Thus, the fierce mantra is well blessed, and the linga is struck. With a willow from Nepal or a shaft of an arrow, drive it from the heart of the patient. Strike all over the body, and circle the head three times. Strike the ground three times, and gather it into the linga. Recite the fierce mantra well, and the self who possesses great power. Recite the fierce mantra and strike with the willow, circling the head and striking the ground, and repeatedly gather it into the linga. Pray to the Bhagavan Lotus Horse King, Vajrapani, and all the retinue, and offer them adorned tormas, making offerings at all three times. Until the boundary is reached, also hold the glorious torma as a pledge. Practice for seven days, and then that linga itself, is trampled under the feet of a widowed woman, burned with a fire of acacia wood, struck with poison and skull medicine, and the fierce mantra is well recited. The self is firm in the wrathful samadhi, and is well struck with medicine and willow. When struck with medicine and willow, all the diseases of the patient's body, by the power and strength of Vajrapani, the terror of Yama, the fierceness of Hayagriva, the fierce mantra of Achala, and the truth of the interdependent substances, all the diseases of the patient's body, having come out, are gathered into the linga of the bhuta. Then light a fire and recite the fierce mantra. Then, when the fire offering is finished, make an image with tsampa, and together with the ashes of the burning, place it in an earthen container. Strike with medicine and strike with willow, and bury it three cubits away from the spring facing east. Thus, if this great practice is done twenty-eight times, the royal family will be freed from demonic harm. For those of the human race, if the royal family is seized by nagas, one who heals with fierce deeds, should strive in this practice. These two great practices, of the Bhagavan Vajrapani, the self who possesses samadhi, from the skull-shaped hole, the practice of fierce medicine, goat and pig fat, donkey fat, cow fat, dog fat, and so on, are widely taught as fire offering substances. Three kinds of lingas should be made, the nameplate is like a skull. Anoint the body with beautiful peacock feathers, and gather it into the linga itself.
