The great nature is, because it does not cling to any self-illuminating place, it arises from the power of unsearched awareness. For example, like a mad elephant, if you release the tether and let it run away, it will return on its own. If a yogi lets go of self-illuminating wisdom, without searching, reality will naturally return. Take spontaneous non-cessation as a skill to use, not clinging to anything, without obstruction. In the view of great self-arising, there is no practice that needs to be transformed. This is the miracle of great wisdom, which is self-born, self-illuminating, and unobstructed. For the unobstructed nature itself, there is nothing to grasp. Unclinging awareness, wisdom arises. Even the various kinds of delusion, thoughts, and suffering, there is no need to experience them, but they naturally appear. Effortless, spontaneous, naturally abiding in its own place. There is nothing special to grasp about this, there is no practice or abandonment in this, there is nothing that can be negated by conceptual thought. Wisdom self-arising is the assurance of the view, effortless is the supreme state of meditation, because there is no need to search, this is the meaning of the fruition. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Self-Arising Power of Awareness of Kuntuzangpo, the Fourth Chapter, the Chapter on Wisdom's Transparency. Then, the King of Awareness, Kuntuzangpo, said this to Vajrasattva: Sentient beings on the path of samsara, because they are inseparable from the spontaneously accomplished nature, are all embodiments of the omniscient one, and are enlightened at the very moment of encounter. The uncreated body, speech, and mind wheels turn, and all phenomena appear as the play of Kuntuzangpo. The Dharmakaya, which is nothing whatsoever, is not to be sought elsewhere, nor is it to be searched for. There is nothing to abandon, everything is perfectly complete. For example, just like recognizing a person, there is no doubt at the time of meeting. Whatever the mindfulness and awareness of a yogi transforms into, know it to be the wisdom of the transparent Dharmakaya. There is nothing to abandon, naturally liberated in its own place, not elsewhere, not even for a moment. The meeting of bindus is the Dharmakaya, the unchanging nature is primordially pure. There is no duality of what can be abandoned and what abandons, the fruition is the ultimate conclusion of Kuntuzangpo. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Self-Arising Power of Awareness of Kuntuzangpo, the Fifth Chapter, the Chapter on the Encounter with Dharmata. Then, the Bhagavan, the King of Awareness, Kuntuzangpo, said this to Vajrasattva: Abiding in the great bliss of spontaneous accomplishment in the lotus posture, effortless awareness is free from thought. Place the antidote to grasping and clinging in its own place, the wisdom of equanimity is the supreme of fruition. Manifest in the state of great lotus posture, for example, in a clear ocean, appearing without obstruction.

Clarity! How does the innate awareness of yoga manifest? There is no name or basis for designation. The absence of a basis for designation is the supreme meaning. The expanse of awareness, self-illuminating in equanimity. There is no establishment in the nature of appearances. The innate awareness of emptiness is unwavering. In that, effortless yoga is supreme. Whatever appears to the face of the senses, how does non-conceptual clarity manifest, free from designation? How do you not contemplate the unceasing non-appearance? Because there is no antidote, it is free from effort. Thus it was said. From the tantra of the manifestation of the power of the self-awareness of Kuntuzangpo, the sixth chapter, "Remaining in Equanimity," is complete. Then again, the Bhagavan, the King of Awareness, Kuntuzangpo, spoke thus to Vajrasattva: Listen, Vajrasattva! The senses, too, have completely fulfilled the supreme meaning. Listen to the explanation of the meaning of the intermediate and the inferior. The Dharmakaya is single, without substantial characteristics. If you wish to seek the Dharmakaya, which is without substance, it is like a thieving dog wandering in a village, searching for an empty, uninhabited house. Although it does not find what it desires and becomes weary, it returns, disillusioned, to lie down. How does the innate awareness of yoga arise? Do not reject the senses, but look within. Examine how it appears and look to the owner. Whatever arises as grasping and being grasped has no root. Look within and seek the one who looks. Having sought, one finds nothing at all, and sees nothing anywhere, and no name is given. It is like the path of a bird in the sky, without trace. Non-appearing, self-arisen, like the sky. To abide in that is the supreme fruit. Thus it was said. From the tantra of the manifestation of the power of the self-awareness of Kuntuzangpo, the seventh chapter, "Seeking Without Trace," is complete. Then, the King of Awareness, Kuntuzangpo, spoke to Vajrasattva: The Dharmakaya has no object of focus from the beginning. If you wish for the meaning of having no object of focus, it is like those with diseased eyes who look at any object from afar, examining whether it is real or not. After examining, the focus becomes confused. Like a fool who does not know what he sees. Whatever yogi examines any aspect of a thing, if he does not release it, he will be born blind, without memory or grasping. If he does not release it and prolongs it, wisdom will arise. Wisdom is like the sky, equal to the sky. A vastness without memory. Without experience, experiences arise, and memory and awareness cease. The object of focus remains without trace. The Dharmakaya of great equanimity is attained. Thus it was said. The self-awareness of Kuntuzangpo
