Without realizing one's own ground. Not realizing the essence of awareness. Awareness in the three, mind and heart, Without realizing one's own ground, the three wheels. Movement caused by the wind, Obscuration interrupted by darkness, The fruit falls into the wheel of darkness. Various sentient beings with forms, Are born from the mind of grasping and movement. Various consciousnesses with forms and meanings, Are attached to all the meanings of things. The minds of all sentient beings are swift, Therefore, they enter the minds of all three realms. Attached to all five aggregates, Entangled in the net of existence, Falling into the sheath of the five doors of ignorance. Dualistic images appear completely, With grasping and being grasped in all things, Showing the twelve branches of the root of existence. The eight aggregates of consciousness arise from attachment and aversion, The six afflictions and near afflictions, Wander in the realms of the three realms of samsara. Experiencing eighty-four thousand sufferings, Due to illusory appearances as if they were real. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Nectar Essence Condensed Lamp Sequence, the fourth chapter, explaining delusion due to not realizing the true nature. Then, the pure-minded young boy asked: "Regarding the delusion of not realizing the way of being, How does one cut off the root of delusion from its source?" After he asked this, the Teacher spoke to the assembly: "In the true nature of things as they are, There is no name of delusion or non-delusion, But delusion arises in the dualistic mind. The six realms of beings who have not realized are all with delusion, They are explained as three: superior, intermediate, and inferior. For the most superior among the fortunate superiors, There is no need to cut off the root of delusion, Because knowing delusion reverses appearances. In the original purity of the primordial state, Where are the doctrines of addition and detraction? This mind-essence is limitless, vast, and deep, Transcending the realm of knowing and awareness. No one can speak, think, or indicate it. Just to represent it temporarily, Like burning the king's palace with fire, Destroying the cities of the four continents with armies, Cutting off the lives of all sentient beings at once, Swallowing the great mountain king in one gulp, Wearing the bright sun and moon as clothes, Throwing all efforts of dharma into the water, Reversing all inner and outer philosophies, Sending the fruit of the three kayas to the grave, Freeing all limited dharmas from the extremes. The palace has three secrets, inner and outer, The outer appearance of the environment, Is the palace of the dualistic king, The signs of self-liberation are burned with fire, Form

I-grasping, without separation, is primordially liberated. The inner, like the uncontaminated aggregates, is the palace of the self-mind king, burned by the fire of insubstantial emptiness. Body and mind are insubstantial, primordially pure. In secret, the three wheels of activity are the palace of the moving king, burned by the fire of immobility beyond thought. The three imputed attachments of desire and aversion have no name. The cities of the four continents also have three. The common city has five elements. The realms of hell and the six classes of beings reside there. Self-appearance, self-purified, is crushed by the army. From the beginning, it is pure in the expanse of the Dharma. The inner city is the body of the six classes of beings. The sufferings of three and eight, etc., are crushed by the army of unborn great bliss. From the beginning, there is no abandonment in the expanse of wisdom. The secret city has three wheels. The tenets of the three imputed attachments of desire and aversion are crushed by the army of limitless transcendence of Dharma. Thoughts, words, and conceptual gatherings are liberated from extremes. The life of all beings is cut into three at once. The six outer aggregates are the objects of ego-grasping. Self-enlightened, inseparable, greatly realized, not other, I realize, is pride, cut off by the weapon of selflessness, free from bias. The inner ego-grasping, mind, intellect, and consciousness, by meditating on the meaning of unwavering absorption, not other, I meditate, is pride, cut off by the weapon of transcendence of thought, without bias. The secret ego-grasping, the meaning of self-abiding, is primordially, without hope, spontaneously liberated, not other, I attain, is pride, cut off by the weapon of Dharma exhausted, limitless. Like a bird swallowing a mountain, there are three things. How like a mountain is the container world, the unchanging manifestation of permanence, swallowed into the expanse of limitless space. The manifestation of permanence is pure in its own place. The inner, like a mountain, is the view of aggregates. Unenlightened, the clinging to the truth of wrong views is swallowed into the expanse of the original purity of reality. Wrong views, nameless, disappear in their own face. The secret mountain is the meaning of Dharma-nature. Spontaneously accomplished, original purity, without fixed clinging, the four extremes are liberated into the expanse. Supreme, beyond thought, gone to the nine peaks. Wearing the sun and moon as clothes, there are three things. The outer sun and moon shown are in the mandala of clear light. The nature of mind, clear and pure, the sun and moon rise. Rejecting and accepting, without distinction, wear as clothes. The inner sun and moon shown are in the mandala of unceasing self-power. Limitless, spontaneously pure, the sun and moon rise. Taking and abandoning, without clinging, wear as clothes. The secret sun and moon shown are in the mandala of essential, original purity. The supreme, universal essence, the sun and moon.
