Without obstruction. Like a precious golden palace. This appearance of illusory realms, Because the Dharmakaya is naturally clear without realms, The Buddha's intention is without interruption. Like the flow of a great river. This stain of wrong thoughts, Because it is self-purified in the realm of reality, In the state of primordial wisdom, bright and clear, Like a precious crystal, pure and transparent. This appearance of samsara and nirvana, conceptual thoughts, Because it is self-accomplished in the realm of the five kayas, Free from taking and rejecting, separating and distinguishing. Like a precious golden island, complete. This appearance of inner and outer duality, Because the wisdom of mind-essence is naturally clear, This transparent clarity of appearance and emptiness, light and shadow, Like layers of illusory mirrors. In this darkness accumulated over eons, Because the lamp of wisdom dawns on its own, The darkness of ignorance is cleared without being dispelled. Like raising a lamp of clarity. This uncertain appearance of red and white, Because the clear wisdom of space is naturally bright, Without day or night, there is no distinction between light and shadow. Like the sun rising in the sky. These various objects of characteristics, Because the unborn nature of reality appears on its own, There is no grasping at the object of perception. Like pure hailstones in the sky. This nature of reality without dualistic appearance, Because it is naturally liberated without searching, There is no appearance of contrived searching. Like the impenetrable darkness of obscurity. This pure wisdom of mind-essence, Because it is naturally empty without contrivance, Transcending the objects of thought and attachment. Like the vast expanse of endless sky. This grasping at the duality of Buddha and sentient beings, Because it is self-aware without being contrived by the path, There is no striving for great hope and aspiration. Like a universal monarch. This unborn, self-arisen wisdom, Without searching or cultivating, from its own nature, Unobstructed liberation, showing the path of liberation. Like illusory lightning in the sky. This essence that has not come into being, not born, Without being named, awakened in its own place, Cannot be shown to others, nor can it be spoken. Like the bliss of a young maiden. This primordial Dharmakaya, all-pervading, Because it is naturally clear without limit, Perfect in qualities, without increase or decrease. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel that produces all that is needed. This limitless nature of reality beyond mind, Because it is self-liberated without a teacher, Great bliss is found from its own nature without searching. Like a knot of horsehair and snake. This confusion and obscuration of unenlightened inferiority, Because it is self-pacified in the realm of bindus, The object to be obscured and the obscurer are primordially pure. Like space dissolving into space.

This dualistic clinging mind, Without discrimination, it is naturally cut off, Therefore, the bonds of existence are completely liberated, Like cutting the general knot of knots. This army of eighty thousand afflictions, Without reliance, it is naturally destroyed, Therefore, the battlefields of samsara are completely turned back, Like falling hailstones. This proliferation of appearances, thoughts, clinging, Appearing clearly, it is naturally cut off, Devoid of self, other, and direction, without name, Like turning the wheel of weapons. This activity of the definitive meaning vehicle, Without acceptance or rejection, it naturally abides, Liberated from the extremes of good and evil karma, Like throwing a knot into the sky. This compassion arising spontaneously without seeking, Without cessation, it naturally arises, There is no need to exert effort in activities, Like miraculous displays from the sky. In the reality of the definitive meaning, Of the first of the four similarities, The way of representing oneself with examples is surpassed. Here, in my nine-peaked totality, Proliferation is cut off at its own source, One's own face is given to oneself by oneself, Self-liberation is established at the moment of its arising, Transcendental Dharma is recited to oneself by oneself. Thus it is said. From the tantra of the essence drop of precious nectar, the combined intention of all Buddhas, the eighth chapter, which cuts off the root of delusion, proliferation, at its own source. Then, Kunrig Khyuchung asked the secret lord teacher: If the root of delusion is not cut off in meaning, what is the fault of being verbose in words? How to give the key of introduction? What is the method of placing it in the realm of meaning? Thus he asked. The teacher instructed the assembly: It is good that you have asked thus. Listen well to the expression in words. This verbosity in words without realization, does not see the totality and wanders in samsara. If the characteristics of samsara are not known, the mind will not turn away from this deluded appearance. If worldly activities are not abandoned, the path of great bliss liberation will not be found. If the five poisons are not exhausted in their own place, wisdom will not be liberated from bondage. If mindfulness and awareness are not absorbed into the expanse, the meaning of great wisdom will not be found. If self-appearance is not liberated in its own place, the face of the unborn dharmakaya will not be seen. If one is not liberated in the realm of samsara and nirvana, one will fall into the dangerous place of grasping at duality. If one does not know the face of one's own nature, even if one seeks for kalpas, one will deceive oneself. If one does not separate from the self-born support, like a cave collapsing a mountain, the dependent will perish. If one does not realize that there is no gathering and scattering, obtaining from others is a mistaken path.
