No letter. No ignorance, no movement, no mind. No center, no edge, no direction, no boundary. No clear and unclear, no distinction. No knowing, self-abiding, no concept. This which cannot be pointed out, Samantabhadra cannot express. The supremely secret essence is not heard by the ear consciousness. Likewise, the tongue consciousness cannot express even a particle of it. That essence which is not the object of the seven aggregates is the essence that pervades all. That which appears as anything without attachment, without ceasing. The appearances of the play of energy, without being utilized, dissolve into the expanse of the Dharmakaya. Because the limbs and essence dissolve naturally, the essence and limbs meet, and it transforms into the great non-dual Dharmakaya. When ignorance turns back and movement ceases, the Dharmakaya without ignorance is self-enlightened. When the door of delusion of ignorance ceases, wisdom increases. Dualistic grasping is without support, self-enlightened. Without grasping, without reliance, unchangingly increases. The part of activity ceases, non-action increases. From the force, initially, is primordially enlightened. It is called the Primordial Buddha. Thus it is said. From the Root Tantra, the Essence of the Jewel's Essence, the second chapter is the one that shows the initial ground's abiding and Samantabhadra's primordial enlightenment. Then, Vajrasattva asked Mind itself, Samantabhadra, this: When nature is equal in the ground, Samantabhadra is enlightened without effort or search. How do sentient beings of the three realms become deluded? Thus he asked. Samantabhadra replied: From the beginning, it is said to be the all-pervading, all-ground. The essence's nature is unwavering, the appearance is without limit, the play of energy and the appearance of rays of light are unceasing. From movement, wind stirs, consciousness transforms into mind. From rays, it arises as the form of light. Not knowing the method of reversing it is ignorance. Not knowing the meaning of abiding is not understanding the meaning. Therefore, it is said that ignorance is darkness. Movement, with wind as its cause, is interrupted by the obscuration of darkness, and the door of delusion of ignorance arises as a condition. It is not done by anyone, but naturally, by the force of movement, it is deluded into the three wheels of mind. Without grasping the essence of its own ground, the essence of consciousness arises, and it is deluded into the mind that seeks everywhere. Without grasping the nature of its own ground, from that it transforms into mind, and it is deluded into the mind that determines. Without grasping the compassion of its own ground, from that it is labeled as mind, and it is deluded into the mind that definitely establishes. The three wheels

Due to the delusion of ignorance, There arose three forms: the form of awareness, The form of light, and The form of flesh. Since the form of awareness has no support, The mind, carrying away fortune, then Roams in all directions, Giving rise to attachment, thinking "not mother, but father." Thus, it enters the mouth of the womb. The father's lineage ripens into hatred in the bones, The mother's lineage ripens into desire in the blood. From the cause of the three poisons, body, speech, and mind, The lineage of successive delusions ripens into fruit. The delusion of something nonexistent arising suddenly, And the delusion of things, conditions, and appearances as three. Appearing as parents, they are labeled as parents, Grasping at parents, they are attached to parents. Appearing as children, they are labeled as children, Grasping at children, they are attached to children. Appearing as land and wealth, they are labeled as land and wealth, Grasping at land and wealth, they are attached to land and wealth. From the delusion of appearance, labeling, grasping, and attachment, All appearances and existence arise from that delusion. The mind grasps at the nonexistent as existent, Experiencing suffering in the manner of a dream. The three realms and six destinies arise from this delusion. The suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death, and The suffering of searching for the nonexistent and not finding it, The suffering of fearing the loss of the existent, The fear of encountering hateful enemies, The fear of separation from loving relatives, The suffering of physical illness, and The suffering of mental desires, The suffering of biased appearances, and These and hundreds of thousands of others, Are not inflicted by anyone, but arise spontaneously. For example, like the saliva of a venomous snake, and Like a silkworm wrapped in silk. Arising from oneself, one is deluded by oneself. Like a pillar mistaken for a person, and A rope mistaken for a snake, and A mirage mistaken for water, these three. Just as shown by these examples, Grasping at the nonexistent as existent is delusion. Grasping at the untrue as true is delusion. Grasping at the impermanent as permanent is delusion. These and other deluded appearances and sufferings, Although they are due to karma and personal circumstances, They do not exist at the base, but are mere fabrications. For example, the black poison of aconite, If unknowingly eaten, one will die, If one knows it is poison, one will not eat it. If one has the method and mantra and knows the nature of poison, Eating it will not cause death, but will transform into medicine. Likewise, the five poisons of delusion, By completely eradicating them as nonexistent at the base, The wisdom free from delusion will be completely purified. Like the night turning to dawn, the sun rising. Though darkness has not cleared, light is manifest. When the precious sun of wisdom rises, The darkness of ignorance and delusion will clear. Without abandoning deluded appearances, clear light will arise. Not
