Of the tantra. Thus all the tantras, as many as there are, are connected without duality of mind and tantra. "Tantra" is not used for anything else. "Mind" is not taken for anything else. Without differentiation, it is the non-differentiated tantra. Without calculation, it is the non-thinking tantra. Without negation or affirmation, it is the non-doing tantra. All the categories of tantra, as many as there are, are cut off from elaboration, without doing anything in the mind. They are cut off from elaboration, without dwelling in the mind. They are cut off from elaboration, without artificiality of the intellect. From the root tantra, the innermost essence of the precious essence, the sixth chapter, which is the chapter on cutting off the elaboration of the tantra, is complete. Then, to the mind-essence, Kuntuzangpo, Vajrasattva asked this: "All the categories of empowerment that exist, how are their elaborations cut off?" When he asked this, Kuntuzangpo replied: "The four empowerments and the eighteen empowerments, all the categories of empowerment that exist, the general collection of all is the mind-essence empowerment. Empowerment and mind are connected without duality. When non-duality is mixed into one, empowerment is the Dharmakaya, without birth or death. The empowerment is conferred without transference or change. Attainment is the attainment of the unchanging essence. Empowerment is the empowerment of samsara and nirvana over the mind. Empowerment is conferred without differentiation. Attainment is attained without calculation. Empowerment is the unreal Bodhicitta. Empowerment is conferred without thinking. Attainment is attained without effort. Empowerment is the empowerment over body, speech, and mind. Empowerment is conferred without searching for action. Attainment is the unchanging attainment of the three kayas. These and other categories of empowerment are cut off from elaboration, without doing anything in the mind. They are cut off from elaboration, without differentiation. They are cut off from elaboration, without the cause of empowerment. From the root tantra of cutting off elaboration, the innermost essence of the precious essence, the seventh chapter, which is the chapter on cutting off the elaboration of empowerment, is complete. Then, to the teacher Kuntuzangpo, Vajrasattva asked this: "All the categories of space that exist, how are their elaborations cut off?" When he asked this, Kuntuzangpo replied: "All the categories of space, as many as there are, are gathered into the vast space of the alaya. In the great space without transference or change, all are gathered without birth or cessation. In the great space of Bodhicitta, there is no birth, beyond speech, thought, and expression. In the realm of primordial purity, elaboration is cut off. Since there is nothing to do in the mind, elaboration is cut off beyond the intellect. In the great space of the uncorrected nature of reality.

In the mind, without thought, cut off elaboration. In the great expanse without bottom or top, Without calculation or action, cut off elaboration. That is called the five categories of cutting off elaboration. Thus it is said. From the root tantra, "Cutting Off Elaboration, the Very Essence of Precious Nectar," the eighth chapter, "Cutting Off Elaboration in the Space Section." Then, Vajrasattva asked Samantabhadra: If the five categories of cutting off elaboration are like that, how are the elaborations of view, meditation, conduct, result, and pith instructions cut off? Having asked thus, Samantabhadra replied: The eighty-four thousand views, Without object of view or viewer, Without analysis or attachment, cut off elaboration. As many types of meditation as there are, Without object of meditation or meditator, Without grasping or distraction in the mind, Without fabrication or thought in the intellect, With no object and no conceptualization, In the unchanging expanse, cut off elaboration. All actions and activities, Let go of whatever is to be done, Body, speech, and mind, there is no action to seek. Whatever appears, there is no attachment to the body. Whatever appears to the five senses, the mind does not enter. Without attachment, like a bee to a flower, Free from the extremes of attachment, effort, and accomplishment. In the expanse of no action, cut off elaboration. As many results as there are, I have not spoken of results of wishful thinking. From the expanse of the heart essence, the wisdom of realization dawns. Realizing the meaning of the ground, one dissolves into one's own place. Inseparably mixed into one, the heart essence becomes the Dharmakaya. Seizing the unborn, self-grounded, the heart essence dawns from the expanse. Cutting off delusion from the root, conceptual thoughts dissolve into their own place. )Transformed into the inexpressible expanse, sealed with the seal of the unborn. In the expanse where the three kayas are inseparable, cut off elaboration. As many pith instructions as there are, I have not spoken of transforming into the four mindfulnesses. The pith instruction without attachment is: Not being attached to the extremes of elaboration, Without a mind of grasping, cut off elaboration. Without self-grasping, cut off elaboration. Without grasper and grasped, cut off elaboration. Without negation and affirmation, cut off elaboration. Without discrimination and selection, cut off elaboration. Without calculation, cut off elaboration. Without mental fabrication, cut off elaboration. With awareness without awareness, cut off elaboration. Without fabrication by the intellect, cut off elaboration. Without separation by knowledge, cut off elaboration. Without thought by the mind, cut off elaboration. Without action by the body, cut off elaboration. Without speech by the tongue, cut off elaboration. Mind
