One cannot attain Buddhahood by appearing as a number of conceptual vehicles. The nature of Dharma, which cannot be expressed, is completely pure. It is fundamentally wrong for the Teacher to name it as Dharma and teach it. Naming it as Vinaya and Sutra is a great mistake. Where is the end of this basis called "Dharma"? The assembly of verbal analysis does not abide on the path, but is lost. All that appears in this way, past and future. If one thoroughly examines that meaning with correct wisdom. In the absence of self-nature, anything appears and anything arises. As it appears, it is the nature of the Dharmadhatu. Thus, the wisdom that realizes the nature of Dharma. Also has power over all kinds of Dharmas. Thus knowing, one knows all Dharmas. Conceptualization is not the basis of everything, it is the basis of no self-nature. All Dharmas do not cling to me and mine. Everything is undifferentiated, everything is equal. There is nothing to realize or examine, and the three times are not visible. The senses, objects, and things are undifferentiated, thusness itself. All Dharmas are thus without self-nature. Thus, abiding in thusness is the best of meditation. From the lineage of meditating on the mind of enlightenment, the third chapter shows how to meditate on the nature of all Dharmas. Then, Vajradhara asked the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, are there any other Dharmas besides the mind? The Bhagavan replied: All Dharmas are illusions of the mind. There are no other Dharmas besides the mind. What appears to be seen as Dharma is the illusory mind. Interdependence, illusion, etc., have no birth. Saying no birth is also to turn away from clinging to reality. Illusion, etc., are originally unborn. There is no way to establish the name of no birth. It is like saying, "Space originally does not exist." How can a fool realize space? The wise do not cling to what existed before. Do not say it is non-existent, and do not speak any words. Because one does not realize from the mind, Dharmas do not exist. Therefore, there is no other Dharma to be practiced. The mind also originally did not arise, did not be born. Then, where does meditation exist? That mind that is spoken of. Because it is unborn, it is not real. Therefore, there is no meditator and no object of meditation. It is just a name.

What will enter where? Not holding the two, cause and result, of the liberated mind, that is unborn, not looking to one's own mind, because there is no other mind than that. For it, what kind of adornment and abiding is there? Between delusion, realization, causes, courage, and limits being complete, in the appearance of mind like a mirage, there is nothing other than self-knowing, so there is no adornment for it. Like the mirage adornment of an ignorant fool, the inconceivable, signless, primordial mind-essence does not abide in signlessness from the beginning. If it does not abide in signlessness from the beginning, then what need is there to speak of not abiding in signs? There is nothing to be accomplished, and nothing more abiding than this. Because there is no fabrication, like space resembling space, all that arises from fabrication is a flaw of meditation. There is no need for the mind of all without exception. How profound, immeasurable! If one clings to clarity in the nature of intelligence, then, for whom will there be the experience of inconceivable profundity? Because it is experience, it is not conceptualization. All the victorious Buddhas have thoroughly examined, there is nothing more established as the ultimate intention than this. Reality as it is is the strong nature of dharma, the sphere of dharma does not enter the nature of dharma, no matter how profound the words spoken, nothing will conform to the meaning. The mind does not look to anything, nor does it abide in anything, in order to eliminate the faults of abiding and looking in the mind, there is jealousy towards clinging to mind. If mind is without substance like a mirage, then, what is the action of not looking, not abiding in mind? To say that space does not abide in space itself, that is not in accordance with reality. Likewise, sitting straight in the lotus position, and completely entrusting my mind to it, the taming of the body, whatever one does at will, arises from clinging to the appearance of the body. Just as there is no adornment for space, so too there is no body. If one knows that my body is like an illusion, then sitting straight there is no lotus position. For the meaning of the three actions, what is there to consider? Not intentionally doing, there is nothing to be done from the beginning. Body and mind, the two are unborn, without foundation, like space, there is no place to abide and adorn. If one wants to adorn body and mind with measurement, that is because there is a stake clinging to realization. Just as signless space is free from the disease of effort of looking and not looking, likewise, the nature of mind is like space.
