Mark. If one is under the power of karma, there is no self-originated wisdom. The cause is like a vajra, similar to a condition. Because it is unborn, it is indestructible. From the beginning, in the essence of bodhichitta, the realm of reality is not moved by diligent thought. The thirteenth chapter: Bodhichitta is not controlled by karma. Again, the Tathāgatas of the retinue asked: Blessed One, Tathāgata Samantabhadra, is the bodhichitta, which is free from effort and mind, a place of hope and aspiration? When they asked this, the Blessed One said: The great qualities of samādhi are inconceivable by samādhi itself. Without thinking or cultivating, like the Dharma, wisdom arises from conceptualization itself. Naming the subtle gate, seeking the path with the solitude of the mind, holding solitude in the lineage of solitude, if named, then contemplate the transformation of conceptualization. Naming cause and effect, both virtue and non-virtue are eliminated. In this world, it will arise, generating the joy of acceptance and rejection. Thus he spoke. The fourteenth chapter: Bodhichitta is free from effort and mind. Again, the Tathāgatas of the retinue asked: Blessed One, Tathāgata Samantabhadra, is the bodhichitta, free from effort and mind, inconceivable, free from the faults of duality? When they asked this, the Blessed One said: Attachment and non-attachment are the path of words, like the Middle Way, like a cliff. Happiness and suffering have the same cause, thus the Blessed One spoke. The fifteenth chapter: Bodhichitta is free from the faults of non-duality. Again, the Tathāgatas of the retinue asked: Blessed One, Tathāgata Samantabhadra, does the great essence of bodhichitta arise from its own nature? When they asked this, the Blessed One said: Desire, hatred, and delusion also arise from the path of great bodhi. The five kinds of conduct and qualities are also the adornment of the unborn nature of Dharma. Thus he spoke. The sixteenth chapter: Great wisdom arises from its own nature. Again, the Tathāgatas of the retinue asked: Blessed One, the Tathāgata

O Excellent and Virtuous One! What is the meaning of the view of non-duality of skillful means and wisdom, and the meaning of the complete and ultimate intention? Thus they inquired. The Blessed One spoke: The conceptualization of space is unborn and unceasing. Conceptualization itself is like space. Undefiled space is blue. The great benefit for oneself arises from space. Thus he taught. The seventeenth chapter, on complete perfection and union. Again, the assembly of Tathagatas asked: Blessed One, Tathagata Samantabhadra! Is the union of skillful means and wisdom free from attachment or not? Thus they inquired. The Blessed One spoke: Present happiness and future happiness, appearing in front and hidden behind, these are also faults of discrimination, so one should not rely on them. Thus he taught. The eighteenth chapter, on being free from attachment. Again, the assembly of Tathagatas asked: Blessed One, Tathagata Samantabhadra! Does the Bodhicitta free from attachment, which from the beginning possesses the great essence, abide by its own nature, or does it not? Thus they inquired. The Blessed One spoke: The three times are one, without difference. There is no before, nor after, it arises from the beginning. Because the Dharmakaya pervades, it is one. Because of its greatness, the great nature abides. Thus he taught. The nineteenth chapter, on abiding by its own nature with the great essence from the beginning. Again, the assembly of Tathagatas asked: Blessed One, Tathagata Samantabhadra! Is the Bodhicitta, which by its own nature is unborn from the beginning, free from aspiration or not? Thus they inquired. The Blessed One spoke: In the three realms, union is only a name, appearing as an illusion. Even the great place of the Universal Monarch is the basis for illusory union. When observing actions in time, these times will not come. If one practices with desirelessness, then the characteristic of emptiness is taught. Thus he taught. The twentieth chapter, on being completely free from aspiration. Again, the assembly of Tathagatas asked: Blessed One, Tathagata Samantabhadra! In that Bodhicitta free from aspiration, the prophecy of...
