For the sake of. Differentiated from objects and mind, the absence of self is a mistaken notion. Now also listen to the essence of the assembled circle. The sutra school speaks of two types of view and meditation, the Mind-Only school mentally gathers appearances into the mind. For the sake of distinguishing between the two truths, good and bad, holding onto the true mind is said to be coarse. Mind-Only makes distinctions for the sake of acceptance and rejection. It is desired to purify the delusions of objects with antidotes. The ultimate, unerring experience is self-illuminating, but because there is acceptance and rejection, it contradicts the definitive meaning. Now also listen to the assembled Vajrasattva. The conventional illusory realm of the Great Vehicle Madhyamaka, the ultimate devoid of the two extremes, is without an object of focus. Meditate on the union of calm abiding and insight. Because there is subsequent attainment and a gradual process of equipoise, there is a fault. Conceptualization enters into objects, and the mind measures them. The mind enters into the object of focus, and grasping arises. Therefore, non-realization is the realm of activity of demons. If a count of gradual progress on the path arises, how can it become the true meaning of the Dharmakaya? The Great Perfection view, the wisdom that is completely perfected from the depths. From the Tantra. The ninth chapter, Holding to Directions and Boundaries, is complete. Then Kunrig Chöje also said, the view of the Kriya class, after meditating on the emptiness of reality, the appearance of conventional magical emanations, the three families of deities. Each attains accomplishment in the order of lord and subjects. If the basis is not realized as one, it contradicts the meaning. The view and conduct of the two tantras contradict each other. Because the upper and lower, grasper and grasped, are not encompassed by the Great Vehicle, if the root is not known as one, it is separate from the meaning. If one desires both the upper and lower view and conduct, one's own mind is confused. The yogi meditates on brothers and friends as equal deities in the Dharmadhatu mandala. Because there is physical and verbal effort, there is a fault. No matter how diligently one meditates, it is not the Dharmakaya. Now also listen to the assembled Vajrasattva. No matter how diligently one practices and exerts effort, the actions are meaningless, and one wanders in suffering. With a mind of effort, everything is meaningless and confused. It is a great obstacle to the unsurpassed Great Bodhi. As long as the characteristics of things are coarse, so too is the body of the deity very coarse. Therefore, if there are no characteristics of things, then the body of the deity does not exist on the basis. In the provisional meaning secret mantra spoken to those of inferior intelligence, there is no view of the profound definitive meaning. The Great Perfection view, wisdom.

From the Tantra of Complete Fulfillment from the Very Beginning: The Tenth Chapter, Showing the Mistakes of Subtle and Gross Effort. Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen well. The basis of the view of the non-dual Tantra: This very appearance is primordially unborn. In the state of unbornness, anything and everything arises. The moment it arises, one's own mind is naturally empty. Like water and reflections in a mirror, Appearance and emptiness are indivisible, primordially pure. Now, listen well to the essence of samsara and nirvana. The teachings on the paths of attachment and liberation, Such as the three samadhis and other object-focused meditations, are because there is no effort on the ground but effort on the path. Transforming conceptual thoughts into deities is said to contradict the meaning. Therefore, if the path is mistaken, the result will not arise. Desiring to be enlightened from the beginning is devoid of the Dharmakaya. Therefore, the Mahā view mixes objects and mind. Forcibly holding a non-dual view is fruitless. Now, listen, great Vajrasattva. In the Anuyoga appearance of unbornness, Contemplate the space of Samantabhadrī's lotus. Whatever appears as grasping at conceptual thoughts towards objects, Contemplate it as the play of Samantabhadra. Non-dual great bliss transforms into sons and power. Thereupon, constantly meditate without distraction. That experience, the power of bliss and clarity, should not be abandoned. On the Dharma nature of suchness, Place your mind intentionally, without contrivance or distraction. Not forgetting that meaning, the result of practice also, Is not intentionally done, but naturally and spontaneously clear. There, paying attention, there is subtle effort. Therefore, the scriptures say that considering object and mind as one is a mistake. Because those Tantric scriptures are obscured by objects, The path of not recognizing the meaning of self-arisen wisdom. Therefore, that meaning must be gradually established in faith. Because distraction arises, it is not mistaken and devoid of meaning. From the Tantra of Complete Fulfillment from the Depths of Wisdom, the Great Perfection View: The Eleventh Chapter, Showing How the Meaning Is Not Touched by Tantric Scriptures and Meditation. Then, Kunrig Gyalpo spoke: The teachings on the eight vehicles of Nirvana, Dividing the upper and lower grounds and paths in order, are provisional meanings. I will explain, listen. The Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Sutrantikas, and Vaibhashikas, Like dawn breaking from darkness, the North Star without the sun, Although they gradually traverse the five paths over eons, They only realize a small part, and because there are latent tendencies, There is only temporary happiness, not ultimate fruit. Again, Vajrasattva
