Criticizing and mocking. Pretended monks create hatred and jealousy. For those sinful beings who hold opposing views on this ultimate meaning, They are destined to fall into hell, forever pitiable. Just as it is difficult to find jewels even if one searches the entire ocean, Suitable disciples and those with faith are extremely rare. Therefore, keep it as an extremely secret treasure. The Great Perfection, which dispels the darkness of ignorance, from the tantra of the complete realization of wisdom from the depths, The first chapter, which speaks of the beginning of the meaning in secret. After speaking thus, the retinue understood the meaning, To express suffering, they prayed for the meaning with their minds: A mind wandering, tormented by the karma of ignorance, Clinging due to the power of the habits of grasping and being grasped, By what kind of net of conceptual thoughts can it be cut? With great compassion, may non-attachment sever hope. The meaning of the profound yoga is difficult to arise, Sentient beings have short lives, and birth, old age, sickness, and death meet deeply, Enveloped by the darkness of ignorance, how pitiable! The six realms of samsara cannot be liberated, hope is shattered. One's own mind is the foundation, and oneself is the craftsman. Although disheartened by the karma of sentient beings with compassion, Will you not act with compassion to benefit sentient beings? Sentient beings, gods and humans, have coarse knowledge, The senses are distracted by grasping at objects, Life is difficult and there are many diseases and calamities, Unable to attain the path of liberation, they fall and wander in samsara. In order to realize the essential instructions of the ultimate meaning, Having vowed to be in accordance with the vessel and the teachings, Without meditation, inseparable, the ultimate meaning is spoken with compassion. From the tantra of the complete realization of wisdom from the depths of the Great Perfection view, the second chapter, in which the retinue expresses suffering. Then, Vajrasattva of the assembly, Looking with his mind, he will surely bestow teachings: The lineage of instructions that need no meditation and are inseparable, From the heart of Kuntuzangpo, I have transmitted, To the wise one blessed with the ultimate meaning, A fortunate disciple who wishes to realize his own mind, With faith, having shown himself great respect, Without regard for body, possessions, or life, Adorning sisters, daughters, and so on, Also horses, elephants, and wealth, Offering them to the lamas without stinginess. Now, listen again to the essence of the retinue. Those who are diligent for the Dharma and possess vows, Those who are steadfast in mind, learned, and able to keep secrets, Those who are virtuous and gentle are the treasure of meaning, These are the fields of merit.

To the disciple who possesses a hundred qualities, the true meaning is shown in utmost secrecy. To the master who is wise and possesses ten perfections, who is gentle and tamed, and has great compassion, even if asked about worldly matters, the meanings are inexhaustible, and who is skilled in revealing the treasures of the holy ones. Just as a lion cuts off the root of fear, I respectfully ask, focusing my mind on the true wisdom. Also, listen, Vajrasattva and your retinue. This secret view of the true meaning, to those with perverse views and inferior views, to those with little learning and dull minds, lacking wisdom, to those who are poor, ragged, and without the vessel, if this is taught, it is like burning both, so keep it very secret. As soon as these words were spoken, everyone rejoiced, and the retinue possessed the meaning of the vessel, promising and vowing, they gathered their minds, and with one voice, they prayed and sat down. From the Root Tantra of the Great Perfection, the View of Wisdom, the third chapter on teaching the container and its contents. Then, the Bhagavan, the King of All-Knowing, spoke this meaning for special emphasis: Before the six realms of sentient beings existed, there was no Buddha, and therefore no name for wisdom. The self-arisen, spontaneously perfect Buddha, had no ignorance. Therefore, even Kuntuzangpo (藏文:ཀུན་བཟང་, 梵文天城体:समन्तभद्र, 梵文罗马拟音:Samantabhadra,汉语字面意思:普贤) suddenly became enlightened. Even if one cultivates without fabrication, from the beginning without conceptual thought, because of the latent habitual tendencies, even bodhisattvas and below will lose their way. The consciousness of ignorant sentient beings is coarse, and the three habitual tendencies of the alaya manifest, therefore the subtle yoga of the lower realms is very prone to error. As soon as these secret words were spoken, the retinue became doubtful, dissatisfied, and questioned the meaning of the mind, thus losing faith in samadhi. From the Root Tantra of the Great Perfection, the View of Wisdom, the fourth chapter on special emphasis. Then, the assembled Vajrasattva, in order to eliminate the clinging and conceptualization of samsara, specifically asked the King of All-Knowing Dharma: How does the alaya of the mind initially exist? From that, how do the habitual tendencies of the alaya arise? How does the karma of the alaya take and cycle? How do unenlightened beings wander in the bardo? Please, All-Knowing Dharmakaya, explain it definitively. Having heard these questions, the King of All-Knowing understood the meaning and instructed: The initial dwelling place of the alaya of the mind...
